HRANA News Agency – Two young prisoner, one of whom was 16 at the time of arrest after an unsuccessful attempt to obtain the consent of the next of kin by lawyers and civil society activists were hanged in the prison of Kerman.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on January 16, 2017, two prisoners with the identities of Arman Bahr Asemani, born on February 10, 1997, who had killed his cousin in Jiroft in 2012 when he was 16 along with the other prisoner, “Shamsollah, R”, 23, from Sirjan after an unsuccessful attempt to obtain the consent of the next of kin by the lawyers and civil society activists were hanged in the prison of Kerman. After the Supreme Court upheld his death sentence, the verdict has been sent to the executive branch in the prison. HRANA News Agency – Amanj Vaisi, juvenile offender who was arrested and sentenced to death on charge of murder when was 15, is still being held in prison in Marivan after 10 years in the shadow of death. He is not a child any more.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amanj Vaisi was born on July 11, 1991. When was 15 years old, he was arrested because of murdering his cousin and was later sentenced to death. He has been living on death row for 10 years so far.
