Dozens of Sunni Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj; Additional Information
HRANA News Agency – Lack of transparency of Iranian judiciary has caused a confusion about the fate of death row Sunni prisoners who had been taken to solitary confinements on Monday. In the newest remarks, the Attorney General has declared the number of executed prisoners to be 20. Such a high number of executions is in itself rare.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after 36 death row Sunni prisoners were taken unexpectedly to solitary confinements of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, the families of at least 21 of them were summoned to the prison for the last visit. However none of them managed to show up in the prison because of long distances and abnormal rush in carrying out the executions. Dozens of Sunni Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj
HRANA News Agency – Dozens of Sunni prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj. The families confirmed that they had seen the corpses of these prisoners in Kahrizak forensics.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), at least 36 Sunni death row prisoners of ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison had been handcuffed, shackled, blindfolded and taken to solitary confinements to be executed. A Former Police Officer Executed in Mashhad
HRANA News Agency – Reza Sabzevari, 32, former policeman from Neyshabur was executed in Mashhad prison on July 27. His family was informed to attend the last meeting in Mashhad prison one day before. Mr. Sabzevari was married and had two children, 10 and 2 years and a half.

All Executed Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison Identified by HRANA
HRANA News Agency – On July 13, 6 prisoners were executed on charge of murder in Rajai Shahr prison. The prisoners along with five other prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinements of the prison on July 10. 5 of the prisoners were transferred to their wards and their sentences were not carried out by the consent of the plaintiffs. The Number of Executions in Rajai Shahr Prisoner Rises to Six
HRANA News Agency – The number of executed prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison increased to six. On July 18, 10 prisoners were transferred to solitary confinements in the prison to be executed, four of them with the consent or deadlines returned to their wards. Six prisoners have been executed.

Additional Information on the Latest Executions in Ghezel Hesar Prison
HRANA News Agency – 11 death row prisoners who had been transferred from different prisons to solitary confinements in Ghezelhesar prison were executed by hanging on July 17. Two of them were executed in public and 9 of these prisoners were executed in Ghezelhesar prison. 7 of them have been identified by HRANA so far.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 11 prisoners from different prisons including 4 from Central Prison of Karaj, 4 from Great Prison of Tehran, 1 from Ghezelhesar prison, 1 from Rajaei Shahr and one female prison from an unknown location had been transferred to solitary confinements of Ghezelhesar prison for execution. 11 Prisoners Executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison
HRANA News Agency – Death sentences of at least 11 prisoners from various prisons who had been transferred to the solitary confinements of Gezelhesar Prison were executed. One of those prisoners was a woman. HRANA has been able to obtain the identities of two of them so far. Two of the detainees were executed separately in the public.
