HRANA News Agency – On Thursday morning, 23rd April, 5 prisoners who had been charged with drug related crimes, went to the gallows, in Kerman city and Jiroft city.

HRANA News Agency – Nine prisoners were executed in central prison of Bandar Abbas.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these prisoners who had been transferred to solitary confinement on the day before were executed in central prison of Bandar Abbas on Thursday morning, April 23rd. HRANA News Agency – 16 prisoners with drug related charges were hanged in Mashhad and Birjand during April 16 and 17.

HRANA News Agency – Barat Zahmatkesh is one of the eleven prisoners who were executed on 14th April in Qezelhesar prison, in Karaj. The following video was recorded just a few days before his execution, in Qezalhesar prison, in Karaj, in which he provides an explanation of his case for the last time and calls for help to rescue him.
By release of this seeking help video of “Barat Zahmatkesh”, this prisoner of drug related crimes, who was executed along with 10 other prisoners in Qezalhesar, on 14th April this year, HRANA tries to get the public attention to the execution and the importance of a fair trial for prisoners. HRANA News Agency – Six prisoners were hanged in Shiraz and Isfahan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday 13th April, 4 prisoners with drug-related charges were executed in Esfahan prison. One of them has been identified as Siamak Ranjbari. Also, on Tuesday, retaliation sentences for two brothers, Ali and Reza Sardari, were executed in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz. HRANA News Agency – During the last two weeks, 13 prisoners who had been sentenced to death, were hanged in different cities in Iran, which has not been mentioned in any report, so far.

HRANA News Agency – 8 prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), most of these prisoners were sentenced to death with drug-related crimes and were taken to solitary confinements in ward five in Rajai Shahr prison, last Saturday. Mansoor Gholamzadeh, Reza Ghorbani, Mahmood Maleki, Ahmad Malekizadeh and Hamid Farajloo were executed and the other three prisoners have not been identified yet.
The brother of one of those executed, told HRANA’s reporter: “My brother did not deserve execution; unfortunately today his corpse was delivered to my family for burial and funeral services.”
About his brother’s alleged relationship with drugs, he said: “My brother used to be a street fighter and one time he was rotated along with several people, (for humiliation), but he never misused drugs and he was not a drug dealer and he was quiet, but in his second trial, he was sentenced to death by the judge. He was quite and was serving his imprisonment.”
Also, HRANA has got some news, which stated that several prisoners have been taken to solitary confinements for execution in Qezalhesar prison, but we have no more information yet.
