At Least 8 Prisoners Hanged in Ghezelhesar Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – At least, 8 prisoners with drug related charges were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 8 prisoners with the names of Nader Hajizadeh, Mohammad Barani, Jahangir Shah Zehi, Mehran Balouch Zehi, Mehrshad Solimani, Reza Daeizadeh, Ehsan Saghafi and Abbas Ameri were executed in Ghezelhesar prison of Karaj, on Monday May 25th. Eleven Bahai Businesses Closed in Sari

HRANA News Agency – Local authorities in Sari have shut down eleven businesses run by Bahais because they had been closed on Bahai holy days.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these include four clothing stores, run by Wahab Darabi, Taraneh Zahedi, Sa`id Goli and Aramesh Zahuri; two electric motor winding shops, run by Farshad Kemali and Mehran Kemali; two toiletries and cleaning materials shops run by Ehsanullah Sana’i and Ehsan Izadi, a paint shop run by Ziullah Khushbin, the wood turning workshop of Kemal Akbari, and a household container shop run by Pedaram Qanbari. Three Bahai Businesses Shut Down in Sari

HRANA News Agency – Local authorities in Sari shut down three businesses run by three Bahais, on May 24, because they had been closed on Bahai holy days.

Riaz Sobhani Released at the End of His Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Riaz’ullah Sobhani, a Bahai who taught classes for the Bahai Institute for Higher Education (BIHE), was released from Raja’i Shahr Prison in Karaj yesterday at the end of a four-year sentence.

HRANA News Agency – At least 6 prisoners with drug related charges were executed in Ghezelhesar prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the death sentences of at least 6 prisoners who were charged with drug related charges were performed in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj, on Sunday May 24. Javad Fouladvand Returned to Prison Without Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Abulghasem (Javad) Fouladvand, political prisoners, was returned to prison, while his medical treatment was stopped, with no cure.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Javad Fouladvand, who had been transferred to Tehran’s “Hezar Takhtekhabi” hospital, known as; “Imam Khomeini” hospital, last week, for a surgery, at 3:30 on Monday morning, 25th May, was returned to Rajai Shahr prison. 2 Prisoners Receive New Imprisonment Sentences

HRANA News Agency – The one-year-imprisonment sentences of Farshid Fathi and Arash Moghadam, who were charged following the raid to ward number 350, known as Black Thursday, were confirmed by the appeal court.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Farshid Fathi, imprisoned Christian priest and Arash Moghadam Aslan Poor were sentenced to 1 years of imprisonment by judge Salavat. The sentences have been confirmed by branch number 36 of court of appeal. These prisoners were charged with producing alcoholic beverage in prison which were found after the raid of prison guards to ward 350. 21 Unreported Executions in the First Half of May in Ghezelhesar Prison

HRANA News Agency – During the first half of May, between May 5 and May 19, 21 prisoners with drug related charges were executed by hanging in Ghezelhesar prison.

Ahmad Zaidabadi Exiled to Gonabad after Serving His Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA News Agency- Ahmad Zaidabadi, journalist and political activist, was exiled to the city of Gonabad directly after being released from Rajai Shahr Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ahmad Zaidabadi in the morning of Thursday 21st May, at the end of his imprisonment sentence, was released from Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, and immediately was transferred to the city of Gonabad.
