HRANA News Agency – Abuse and insult to the families of political prisoner, Misagh Yazdan Nejad, caused tension in Rajai Shahr prison’s visiting room.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the family of Yazdan Nejad, imprisoned student in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, after a while has got close appointment permission but, the visiting room officer insulted and shouted on his brother, which caused tensions and other prisoners’ protests. Negar Haeri Transferred to Solitary Confinements of Ward 209 of Evin

HRANA News Agency – Negar Haeri, a political prisoner who had recently been summoned and detained, was transferred to ward 209 of Evin Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Negar Haeri, civil activist and legal adviser, on Tuesday 19th May, was transferred to solitary confinement from the women’s ward in Evin prison for interrogation. 2 Imprisoned Christians Transferred to Hall Number 2 of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Farshid Fathi and Alireza Seyedian, two Christian prisoners were transferred to Hall 2 in Rajai Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Pastor Farshid Fathi and Ali Seyedian, Christian converts in Rajai Shahr Prison, in Karaj, were transferred to Hall 2 in ward 1 of this prison. Mohammad Mozaffari Transferred to Ward 8 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency- Mohammad Mozaffari, political activist, was transferred to ward 8 of Evin Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the imprisoned member of the students and graduates of the National Front, who was arrested in February this year, was transferred from ward 2A of the Revolutionary Guards to ward 8 in Evin Prison on Monday, 18th May. A Prisoner Died in Zahedan Prison because of Lack of Medical Care

HRANA News Agency – A young prisoner died in prison of Zahedan as a result of lack of medical care.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Abdul Wahed Gomshadzehi, 19, son of Din Mohammad, from Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, with the critical condition of the scalp hematomas and due to lack of medical facilities and refrain from transferring to a hospital outside the prison, passed away on Monday, 18th May. 5 Prisoners Hanged in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz

Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr Sent to Furlough

HRANA News Agency- Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr, political prisoner and member of the Political Bureau of Nehzat-e-Azadi, was sent on leave for five days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr was sent on leave for five days from Rajai Shahr prison on Tuesday afternoon 19th May.
Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr was arrested for the first time in April 2009, under the pretext of having a role in the regulation and publicizing the statement of requesting international supervision on the presidential elections and released on bail after 45 days in solitary confinement, and the second time, after the events of Ashura in 2009 was arrested on charges of participating in the rally and after about two months, on 29 February of that year, he was released.
He eventually was sentenced to five years imprisonment in a closed, non-jury trial presided by Judge Moghiseh. He was charged with membership of the “Nehzat-e-Azadi”, “participating in gathering 2009 in Ashura” and “election campaign”. This sentence, after the objection was sent to the Court Branch 54, for reconsidering and the court verdict was literally approved.
This political activist was arrested again in March 2012 and was transferred to Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, to endure his imprisonment sentence.

3 Sunni Activists Arrested in Mahabad

HRANA News Agency – After the protests in Mahabad and the subsequent arrests, three Sunni activists were also arrested.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ebrahim Gholami, industrial engineering student, Mostafa Khadir, worker and Heyman son of Ali Bazari, all three from Mahabad, were arrested in recent weeks and still no notification of their status is available. Atena Farghdani Was Tried in Tehran Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – The trial of Atena Farghdani, painter and civil activist, was held on 19th May.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in the morning of Tuesday 19th May, Farghdani’s trial was held in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by judge Salvati, with presence of this civil activist’s solicitor. No Information about Saman Hariri after One Week of Detention

HRANA News Agency – There is no information about Saman Hariri, Mahabadi citizen, who was arrested by the security forces, late last week.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Saman Hariri, 26, resident of Mahabad, was arrested and taken to an unknown location by security forces on 14th May.
One of the HRANA’s sources add: “Saman was arrested on Thursday last week in the street by plainclothes agents and from that date there is no news about him, his family also, for unclear reasons, probably for fear of worsening his condition,  refrain to talk about his arrest.”
So far, the reason of Saman Hariri’s arrest and his charges are not clear, but according to one of his friends, most likely he has been arrested by intelligence office in Mahabad for his civil activities.
