HRANA – On Thursday, May 20, 2010, Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by judge Moghiseh, sentenced Mr. Arman Rezakhani to three years in prison on fabricated charges. Mr. Rezakhani is a highly rated student of information technology at the school of engineering.

19 political prisoners’ letter to condemn the death verdict of 8 political prisoners
HRANA News Agency– 19 political prisoners in Zahedan prison whom some of them sentenced to death too, released a letter and condemned Imminent execution of Zanyar Moradi, Loqman Moradi, Youns Aghayan and 5 political activists from Ahwaz.
“Whispers about execution of three Kurdish political activists called Zanyar Moradi, Loqman Moradi, Younes Aghayan and 5 political activists from Ahwaz called Mohammad Ali Amoori, Hashem Sha’bani, Hadi Rashedi, Seyyed Jaber Alboshokeh and Seyyed Mokhtar Alboshokeh reminding us all sadness moments of the past years when they took our brothers away in front of us”, They declared in the letter.
“We are the political prisoners of Zahedan prison who have suffered of injustice and some sentenced to death. There are three Kurdish activists among us who were sentenced to death and now are here in exile. All of us demanding international community and human rights organizations to prevent the execution verdicts of our brothers to not see the tulips of this land sinking in blood.”, The 19 political prisoners added.

To not let repetition of May 9th and one more mournful spring by the tears of millions people
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
Writing this letter to the unknown people is very difficult, but while this unknown suffered by injustice same as the writer and spending days with unfair execution verdict he sentenced, he will be known better than anyone.
We talked about the unfair execution verdict which have been the pain of Balouch prisoners all the time, also the silence of international community and the self-censor among interior human rights activists.
Because this letter is not to describe our oppressions, we pass this issue to the painful hearts of our people and they will share them in the future.

We, the political prisoners of Zahedan side by side of Kurdish people who have been repressed and executed in accusation of demanding freedom, but did not stop with all the repressions and even when the teacher of peace and freedom Farzad Kamangar and Shirin the Kurdistan Kajal on May 9th of 2010 hanged and again there was silence in this country; And side by side of Khouzestan people whom their eyes are full of rage nowadays because of the execution verdict of 5 activists from Ahwaz, demanding whole international community and human rights organizations to not let the May 9th repetition and one more mournful spring.

Iran: Baha’i Couple Arrested in Urmia
HRANA News Agency– Security forces inspected living and working places of a Baha’i couple and arrested them.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Security forces first inspected the working place of “Fardin Aghsani” and arrested him on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
At the same time, intelligence ministry officers went to his house and after searching his house, seized his personal things such as books and photos related to Baha’i faith. They arrested his wife, Farahnaz Moghadam, and transferred them to an unknown place.
The detainees had a phone call to their families and there is no more information about them.
Two Azerbayejani political activists arrested
HRANA News Agency – Latif Hassani and Shahram Radmehr, the Azerbayejani political activists have been arrested.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), On February 6th of 2013 Shahram Radmehr the political activist and member of Ya’ni Gamouh central committee with Dr. Latif Hassani the political activist and general secretary of Ya’ni Gamouh have been arrested.
Dr. Latif Hassani on 12 O’clock of Wednesday at his home located in Karaj and Shahram Radmehr in Khiav -Meshkin Shahr- have been arrested by security forces.
Also before their detention two other members of Ya’ni Gamouh central committee, Mahmoud Fazli and Ayat Mehr Ali Bigdeli -Yourosh- were been arrested.
After a while Mahmoud Fazli was transferred from Tabriz Etela’at to Tabriz prison and again after a few days to Tabriz Etela’at office, but Etela’at agents still interrogating Ayat Mehr Ali Bigdeli.
Etela’at ministry: Arrested journalists were associated to BBC
HRANA News Agency – Etela’at ministry of Iran claimed in a statement that the arrested journalists were associated to BBC and might be another group to arrest in the next few days.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from ISNA, Etela’at ministry wrote in the statement “During the preparations for the Fajr anniversary this Ministry could discover one the biggest media networks associated to the arrogance media center.”

Six months imprisonment verdict for a civil activist

HRANA News Agency– Hamed Malek Abadi, the civil activist sentenced to six months imprisonment by Sarab revolutionary court.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), judge Khateri in Sarab revolutionary court sentenced Hamed Malek Abadi to six months imprisonment on charge of propaganda against regime.

Student activist, Amir Chamani resident of Tabriz has been detained
HRANA News Agency – Amir Chamani, student of master degree in sociology faculty of
Tabriz private university, has been detained by the security forces.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Chamani, student activist, at 04:00 PM of Sunday 13th of January has been arrested by the security forces at his home.

Reza Shahabi, Iranian Imprisoned labor Activist Begins Hunger Strike
HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, an Iranian labor leader imprisoned since June 2010, went on hunger strike on 17 Dec 2012 to protest against mistreatment by jail guards as well as prevention of his medical treatment by the judicial authorities.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi’s physical conditions have deteriorated. He has announced that he will refuse taking his medication and eating food until he is allowed to be transferred to a hospital outside prison for complete treatment.

Strengthening security in Sharekord university by Installing new cameras
HRANA News Agency – Shahrekord University officials have tried to install cameras for controlling the space of university.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), On the other hand by installing the control gate entry and exclusion of students, the university Security Increased. Meanwhile, In recent years students did not need student card to enter the university.
According to one of the student activists of the university, The presence of security guards to check Hijab of students have been highlighted. It is worth noting that in the new school year many girls students because of inappropriate dress ( HIJAB ), and several boy students because of smoking has been banned from having a student dormitory.
