HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civic activist in ward 350 of Evin prison, has got a chronic inflammatory disease of the aspiratory (asthma) and is still suffering from continuous stomach bleeding, however, despite the agreement of the prosecutor, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards still deprive him of going on medical leave and being admitted in hospitals.
A source familier with Arash Sadeghi’s situation told HRANA’s reporter: “Arash is in a critical condition, suffering from asthma and stomach bleeding. Although the prosecutor has agreed with the bail order, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards still deprive him of going on medical leave and being admitted in hospitals. Afshin Baymani Deprived of Medical Furlough Despite Critical Condition
HRANA News Agency – Afshin Baymani, political prisoner, is being deprived of medical furlough despite going through all administrative procedures including depositing the issued bail. Afshin Baymani, who has been imprisoned from 16 years ago, has been deprived of leave so far, although he needs medical treatment for his heart problems, including heart blood vessels obstruction that requires advanced medical care, he needs medical leave and treatment now more than ever.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a source close to this political prisoner told HRANA’s reporter: “Due to the heart problems that Afshin is suffering from, he should not be transferred in handcuffs to the hospital. A Report about Maher Kabi’s Situation in Ardabil Prison
HRANA News Agency – Maher Kabi, Arab prisoner from Shoush, is one of the prisoners who were arrested in connection with protests and demonstrations by the Arab citizens against “the demographic change of the province” in 2011 and has been sentenced to imprisonment in exile. He was tortured by being fasten to the bed and lashed and eventually he was forced to give false confessions on TV.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Maher Kabi, son of Rahim, civil engineering student and a resident of the city of Shoush in Khuzestan Province, is serving 10 years imprisonment in exile at ward seven of Central Prison of Ardabil, on charges of “membership in Ahwaz Liberation Organization, propaganda against the regime through connection with the enemy medias and sending false news in order to demonize the Islamic Republic of Iran at the international level and also stimulate citizens to take action against the regime (taking part in protests in Ahvaz April 15)”. A Report about Ayatollah Kazemeini Boroujerdi’s Medical Treatment after Being Sent to Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi, a prisoner of conscience in Evin prison, who was sent on medical leave at the beginning of his eleventh year of imprisonment for the first time is busy with the medical tests and treatments for his illnesses caused by long term imprisonment. Ali Paxh-Gol; Imprisoned Since 6 Years Ago
HRANA News Agency – Ali Paxh-Gol is among the political prisoners who has been mentioned less in the media. He is Baluch and a resident of Hormozgan province. He was arrested for his religious and political belief, and while he had not committed any act of violence, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. After serving 6 years, he has experienced nothing but harassment, beating, torture and humiliation.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Paxh-Gol, son of Saleh, is from Khomain in Hormozgan province. He was charged with “illegally passing the border, propaganda against the regime, copying and distribution of speeches of Sunni hard-liner leaders, and membership in Abdul Malik Rigi’s group”. He was arrested by intelligence service forces on December 14, 2010, and sentenced to 15 years in prison in exile to Khalkhal, and one year unconditional imprisonment, by general and revolutionary court of Zahedan. Mehdi and Hossein Rajabian Deprived of Medical Furlough
HRANA News Agency – The furlough request of Mehdi and Hossein Rajabian, two artist brothers in Evin prison, who suffer from different diseases, in addition to side effects of a one-month long hunger strike, was rejected. On the other hand, the authorities of prison infirmary are neglecting their medical treatment.

No Hot Watter in Urmia Central Prison
HRANA News Agency – It is more than two months that the hot water is cut off for all wards of Urmia Central Prison and the prisoners have been using hot water which was boiled in the pot, for the bathroom. The prisoners’ frequent follow-ups have had no results and the authorities’ last answer mentions the lack of funds for “replacing the prison’s boiler”.

Soheil Babadi Released from Prison and Sent to Exile
HRANA News Agency – Soheil Babadi, prisoner of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, was transferred to Bandar Abbas to serve his sentence of two years of exile, after enduring five years of imprisonment.
According to the report of the Human Rights News Agencey in Iran (HRANA), Soheil Babadi, prisoner of Hall 12 in ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, upon the request to apply Article 134 on his case and the reduction of the sentence to five years imprisonment, on the completion of his imprisonment time, was sent to the city of Bandar Abbas to serve a sentence of two years in exile, on January 25, 2017.
