HRANA News Agency – Three religious dissidents named Peyman Fatahi, Morteza Rasuliyan and Amir Almasian were arrested at 23:30 on Friday 7th August, in Mehr Shahr, in Karaj.

4 Years in Prison; a Report on the Latest Status of Navid Khanjani

HRANA News Agency – Navid Khanjani, human rights activist, started his 4th year in prison while he has been deprived of having furlough.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the third year of the imprisonment sentence of Navid Khanjani, Bahai human rights activist, was finished on August 7. Inspection of Ward 4 of Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – The security forces of Rajaei Shahr prison, seized some of the things that were bought from the prison store, during the inspection of hall 10 of ward 4.

Nasser Piri Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Nasser Piri, Sunni religion student has been sentenced to five years imprisonment and was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison.

Namegh Deldel Still Detained in Ward 209 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – After more than fifteen months of detention, Namegh Deldel, a citizen of Boukan is still held in ward 209 of Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Namegh Deldel who had been previously imprisoned for 3 years in Rajai Shahr prison, after being released on 18th April 2014 was arrested again in Boukan and later was transferred to ward 209 of Evin Prison. Family of Shahriar Cyrus Denied Prison Visiting Rights

HRANA News Agency – Despite the orders of the Prosecutor, authorities at Evin prison, in Tehran, have refused to allow Shahriar Cyrus, a Bahai painter and a respected art critic, to receive family visits.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Cyrus was arrested on June 30th. On July 23, his wife Afsaneh Eqani and their 7-year-old son went to block 209 at Evin prison, where prisoners of conscience are held. Fresh Graffiti against Bahais in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – On the night of July 25-26, a Bahai home in the Shahrak-e Gharb district in North-west Tehran was defaced with the usual unimaginative slogan: “Death to Baha’i.”

Shahrukh Ta’if Released after 4 Years in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Shahrukh Ta’if was released from Raja’i Shahr prison this morning, at the end of a 4-year sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mr. Ta’if was arrested at his home in Tehran on January 14, 2009 and held for over two months in solitary confinement. Burial of Mrs. Muhammadi-far Reveals a New Restriction on Bahais in Iran

HRANA News Agency – On 12 July 2015, a Baha’i, Mrs. Baji Muhammadifar passed away and her family sought a burial permit to inter her body in the Bahai cemetery in Sanandaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this was refused, with the officials insisting that Mrs. Muhammadifar’s body be laid to rest in the Baha’i cemetery in Qorveh, a town located approximately an hour and a half from Sanandaj. Agreeing to burial in Qorveh would have forced the family to ignore the Bahai burial law requiring bodies to be interred within an hour’s journey from the place of death. Farshid Fathi Will Be Released in December 2015

HRANA News Agency – Farshid Fathi, a Christian pastor will be released from prison, two years earlier than the previous deadline. With application of the integration and Article 134 offenses he will be released in December this year.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this prisoner of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison, earlier in two cases, was sentenced to a total of seven years imprisonment and was supposed to remain in prison, till October 2017.
