HRANA News Agency – Zahedan prison, where there are many political and security detainees, has various problems due to its distance from the central, lack of oversight by the civil society and provincial deprivation, and has witnessed prisoners’ protests and their attempts to reach their voices in recent months aiming improvement in their situation in this prison. Eventually some officials were sent from capital to monitor the prisoners’ situation, but the prison officials threatened some prisoners who are on death raw trying to silence the prisoners, also disconnected the political prisoners’ ward’s telephones.

A Report about the Situation of Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj
HRANA News Agency – Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj where has been classified as whereabouts of inmates with violent crimes, has been used as an exile area of political and non-political prisoners for many years by the Iranian government. Two Prisoners Committed Suicide in Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj
HRANA News Agency – A prisoner named Milad Biglaribeigi committed suicide due to bad conditions on Saturday night, December 2, 2017. Another prisoner, Mohammad Menbari, hanged himself by the curtains of his room on November 29.

A Prisoner Died in Zahedan Prison
HRANA News Agency – A prisoner who had been detained in Zahedan central prison, died after several days of illness and being neglected by the prison’s health center. This prisoner was suffering from a heart problem and had received just a few stomach pills.

Heavy Bails Issued for 3 Prisoners in Zahedan Prison
HRANA News Agency – A 25-year-old prisoner from Saravan was sentenced to death on charge of Muharebeh through collaboration with opposition groups by the Revolutionary Court of Zahedan. Three other prisoners who had been charged with Muharebeh through armed action faced heavy and unprecedented bails.

Saeed Sangar Acquitted in a New Case
