Arash Sadeghi in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi who has gone on hunger strike in ward 8 of Evin prison since October 24 passed out with 9/6 blood pressure and was under oxygen for an hour in the clinic of prison. Following his critical condition, clinic doctors recommended him to be sent to a hospital, but the political prisoner announced that he would go to the hospital without wearing a uniform and handcuffs and shackles. He is now suffering palpitations, shortness of breath, pain in the kidney and his toenails were bruised.

Golrokh Irai and Arash Sadeghi Met in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – On November 14, Golrokh Irai and Arash Sadeghi met in the prison. The meeting was the request of the head of the prison aimed at ending the hunger strike of Arash Sadeghi, however, despite the promises of the authorities he refused to end his hunger strike until fulfilling these promises.

A Prisoner Died in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Prison authorities of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, have declared “suicide in solitary confinement”, as the cause of the death of a prisoner while, sources close to the prisoners insist that “he has been beaten and killed by a blow to the head” by the guard.

Ali Shariati Transferred to a Hospital on the 14th Day of Hunger Strike

A Report on Ahmad Tamouei’s Situation on Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Third Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Urmia acquitted political prisoner, Ahmad Tamouei, in his ninth year of imprisonment in the central prison of this city, due to lack of sufficient evidences for the charge of “propaganda against the regime” in his new case. Mr. Tamouei is serving his 15 years imprisonment sentence in this prison.

Amir Amirgholi on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Amir (Ali) Amirgholi, political prisoner has gone on hunger strike due to lack of safety, lack of attention to him being beaten, lack of medical attention to his injuries, lack of separation of prisoners based on their crimes since November 16, 2016. His 19 years in prison sentence which was reduced to 8 years in prison at appeal court earlier, had been aggregated to five years.
