Reza Shahabi transferred to Imam Khomeini Hospital

HRANA News Agency- Reza Shahabi a Workers’ Rights activist who is on hunger strike since 41 days ago, transferred to Imam Khomeini Hospital. Government officials have not yet allowed his family to visit him.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi was transferred on July 12th from the 12th Ward of Rajai shahr Prison and admitted at Imam Khomeini Hospital. (more…)

Reza Shahabi transferred to the clinic of the prison

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi was transferred to the clinic of prison due to his physical deterioration.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahbi Zakari, the labour activist and political prisoner had been transferred from Evin to Rajai Shahr prison, on Sunday June 1st. The same day he started his hunger strike in protest at this transfer. (more…)

HRANA News Agency – Latif Hasani, after 25 days and Reza Shahabi after 11 days, are still on hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Latif Hasani political prisoner in Tabriz Central prison, went on hunger strike on 18th of May, to protest against the violation of political prisoners rights, violating the principle of prisoners’ separation based on kind of crimes in prisons, and political prisoners legal rights including the right to transfer them to their home city, leave permission and also to protest against the harassment of the families of political prisoners. Reza Shahabi is deprived of medical treatment

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, the labor activist and political prisoner of Evin prison is deprived of medical treatment following the order of Tehran prosecutor.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the attrition trend of following medical status and treatment of prisoners of ward 350 in Evin prison, last Sunday 2nd of January, Reza Shahbi, the labor activist and member of Sherkat-Vahed (Bus Transit) syndicates, has been deprived of continuation of his medical treatment.

 

Last Sunday and after weeks of efforts for getting permission from persecutor and coordination with hospital, Tehran’s persecutor in an order to prison authorities stopped his medical furlough and banned any presence of Reza Shahabi’s family member in hospital and has stated upon the aforesaid condition, the prisoner shall be transferred to prison without finishing his treatments.

 

This order has initialed despite the fact, which due to back problem and pain, there are months that movement became hard for Reza Shahbi and visiting a professional physician was a need. Besides, the presence of the family was for ease of getting medicine and following bureaucratic medical procedure, which prison’s authorities refused to do elaborately.

 

Later, the Tehran deputy prosecutor, Mr. Khodabakhsh initialed similar order for Mehi Khodaei, the other prisoner of ward 350, which caused issues for this prisoner.

Collective testimony of political prisoners about Ahmad Daneshpour

HRANA News Agency – In a letter, a group of political prisoners in the ward 350 of Evin prison expressed their concerns around the health situation of Ahmad Daneshpour-Moghadam in this prison.

 

According to HRANA reporters, the news organization of human rights activists in Iran, the political prison, Ahmad Daneshpour, fell unconscious following the deterioration of his health and seriously injured his chin.

Reza Shahabi is in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency- Reza Shahabi -labour activist- was transferred to clinic of Evin prison following his severe illness.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi has been urgently transferred to health clinic of Evin prison on Monday 25th November for sever back pain and numbness in legs.

 

According to a trusted source of news, HARANA reports : “Reza Shahabi was not able to walk any more but was refusing to go to clinic in support of Esmail Barzegari who is in his 32th day of hunger strike and also protesting against failure to address Esmail Brzegari, Mohamad Jarahi and Shahrokh Zamani’s demands by prison officials. “

 

“After being taken to Evin clinic by other prisoners, he has been transferred back to ward 350 after only one sedative injected. “
