HRANA News Agency – Two Kulbars from Margour in Urmia were killed and one other was wounded after being directly shot by the police.

Mahmood Masoumi Summoned and Released on the Bail

Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in June-July 2016

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of June-July, 2016 (Persian calendar month of Tir, 1395). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be noted that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. Kamal Hassan Ramazan’s Sentence Reduced to 7 Years and 6 Months

Ahmad Montazeri Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Ahmad Montazeri, son of Ayatollah Montazeri showed up at Qom Special Court for Clergies for the sixth time on September 5, because of publishing his father’s audio file about executions of political prisoners in Iran in 1988. He was charged and temporarily released on the bail of 700 million IRR until the next hearing.

No Information about 5 Arrested Christians

HRANA News Agency – After one week since the arrest of 5 Christians in Firoozkooh, there is no information about the place that they are being detained at. Their names has not been registered in any of Tehran’s prisons and efforts made by their families and lawyers had no result.
