“The Last Protest”; Music Video for Younes Asakereh’s Daughter
HRANA News Agency – The music video “The last protest”, composed and performed by Amir Sarikhani was to the young daughter of Younes Asakereh, the peddler from Khoramshahr, who set himself in fire as a protest, in March 2015. Negar Parsaei has written the poetry.

All Executed Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison Identified by HRANA
HRANA News Agency – On July 13, 6 prisoners were executed on charge of murder in Rajai Shahr prison. The prisoners along with five other prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinements of the prison on July 10. 5 of the prisoners were transferred to their wards and their sentences were not carried out by the consent of the plaintiffs. Political Prisoners of Uremia Prison Threatened by the Authorities
HRANA News Agency – At least three political prisoner of Uremia prison who are being kept in general wards, have been summoned to prison security office and threatened for their friendship with prisoners in political prisoners’ ward.

Police Headquarters Reacted to HRANA’s Report about Sajad Tofighian
HRANA News Agency – Police headquarters of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province reacted to HRANA’s report by releasing a statement, about a Dehdasht resident who went to coma after being beaten by police forces. This police headquarter denied to have beaten Sajad Tofighian, and claimed that one the police forces was injured by him, and he went to hospital due to side effects of taking pills. This is contradicting the witnesses, Tofighian family, press and local authorities’ claims who believed that this civilian was beaten by police forces.

The Number of Executions in Rajai Shahr Prisoner Rises to Six
HRANA News Agency – The number of executed prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison increased to six. On July 18, 10 prisoners were transferred to solitary confinements in the prison to be executed, four of them with the consent or deadlines returned to their wards. Six prisoners have been executed.

A Civilian Sentenced to Lashing in Mashhad
HRANA News Agency – Raoof Karimi from Mashhad was sentenced to 74 lashes by the court due to his wife’s complaint after a family contention, on charges of “insults and threats”. Flogging sentence from the perspective of human dignity is one of the issues that makes the Iranian government be seen as a violator of human rights treaties.
