HRANA News Agency – Habibollah Latifi, the Kurdish political prisoner of central prison of Sanandaj, is still at the risk of execution.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Habibollah Latifi, the student of industrial engineering of Ilam University, was arrested on October 23, 2007, and after three months in solitary confinement and physical torture he was sentenced to death in branch number one of revolutionary court, by chief judge Hassan Babayi, on charge of corruption on earth. An Azeri political prisoner on hunger strike
HRANA News Agency – Mahmood Fazli, the well-known Azeri activist and imprisoned leader of YENI GAMOH, has started his hunger strike, in protest to prevention of submitting his defend to the court, since 7 days ago.

Tens of Arab citizens have been arrested
HRANA News Agency – Security forces have arrested tens of political and civil activists during last week.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during last week and due to the anniversary of April 2005, tens of Arab citizens who have political and civil arrests on their background have been arrested again.
Karim Daihami the human rights activist, said to HRANA’s reporter, “Security forces, have no court order or legal document and rush into the houses, terrorize the inhabitants and arrest activists at night or dawn”.
Some details of some of the known detainees are as below:
- Abdulkarim Zargani, for religious activities, from Zargan area, on Wednesday, April 9
- Jaber Sakhravi, resident of Kouy-Alavi of Ahvaz city, Tuesday, April 8
- Jasem Zargani, son of Aboud, married and has two children, from Zargan area, Wednesday, April 9
- Mohammad Zargani, son of Hamid, married and has one child, from Zargan area, Wednesday, April 9
- Hossain Zargani, son of Shaker, from Zargan area, Wednesday, April 9
- Aref Sarkhi, from Kooy-e-Malashiyah, Wednesday, April 9, 5am
- Mehdi Halfi, from Kooy-e-Alavi of Ahvzaz city, on Tuesday, April 8
- Ali Dabeh Hovaizeh, son of Karim, from Kooy-e-Alavi, Thursday, April 10
- Reza Zargani, son of Gaeid,from Zargan area, Wednesday, April 9
Baluch political prisoners are deprived of prison services
HRANA News Agency – Some of Baluch political prisoners of central prison of Zahedan, are deprived of prison services, as a consequence of writing letter to UN and EU (High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy).
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Abed Bampoori, Eshagh Kalkoli and some other prisoners who had written appeal letter to Catherine Ashton last March, are deprived of all prison services like furlough and phone call. A Kurdish couple have been summoned to the intelligence
HRANA News Agency – Loghman Ahmadi and his wife, two Kurdish citizens of Salmas, were summoned to intelligence service office and threatened.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Loghman Ahmadi, the son of Hefzollah, and his wife Mahin, two Kurdish inhabitant of Lailoos village, from Salmas city’s rural area, have been interrogated, threatened and beatened for many hours, following being summoned to intelligence service office of this city, on Wednesday, March 26. 2 Arab death row prisoners are trasnferred to an unknown location
HRANA News Agency – Seyed Khalid (Yasin) Mousavi (26 years old) and Ali Chabishat (49 years old), the 2 death row Arab political prisoners from Shush are transferred from Dezfool prison to an unknown location on March 18.
These prisoners were arrested by Shush intelligence service on November 11, 2011 and after months being held in solitary confinement and experiencing mental and physical tortures, made confession against themselves in front of camera and based on that they have been charged with pipeline bombing and sentenced to death. 3 Kurdish political prisoners transferred to ward 12 of Uremia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Faroogh Samani, Alireza Rasooli and Khezr Rasool Morovat were transferred to hall 12 of central prison of Uremia.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Faroogh Samani, Alireza Rasooli and Khezr Rasool Morovat who were confined in Section 4 of the Uremia Central Prison with the ordinary and dangerous prisoners, were transferred to clause 12 which is for the political prisoners.
It is to say, «Faroogh Samani» an Artist from Mahabad was arrested by the IRGC forces and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in early March last year.
While this Kurdish artist was arrested “Farzad Samani” his brother was arrested for unknown reasons a little earlier. Farzad Samani was convicted to 3 years and half imprisonment.
Khezr Rasool Morovat was arrested and convicted to 5 years imprisonment in early March 2013.
A Kurdish citizen is sentenced to 10 years in prison
HRANA News Agency – An inhabitant of Agorghash from Mahabad city’s rural territory has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Samrand Frahmandi, the 23 years old son of Kamel, an inhabitant of Agorghash village from Mahabad city’s rural territory, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by the revolutionary court.
An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter, “This citizen’s charges are political but there is no information about details or evidences”.
This source continued, “Samrand Farahmandi was summoned and arrested by security forces many times and during past moth he was sentenced two times for political charges”.
Need to be mentioned, this sentenced could be appealed within a 20 days period.

HRANA News Agency – Seyed Velayat Hossaini and Kavoos Abdollah Zadeh, two Kurdish inhabitants of Salmas were summoned to intelligence service office and threatened.
According to the report of HRANA reporters, Seyed Velayat Hossaini, the Kurdish inhabitant of Ashnak village and Kavoos Abdollah Zadeh, son of Abdollah, the Kurdish inhabitant of Broushkharan village of Salmas territory, were summoned to intelligence service office and threatened and beaten.
