HRANA News Agency – Adnan Hassanpour, the imprisoned journalist has been exiled to the Central Prison of Zahedan after spending 15 days in the quarantine section of the Central Prison of Zabul.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on 18 of February 2014 Adnan Hasanpour was exile to Zabul prison. 3 Kurdish political prisoners are exiled to Uremia Central Prison

HRANA News Agency – Farugh Samani, Alireza Rasouli and Khezr Rasoul Morovvat, the 3 political prisoners in Mahabad Prison, has been exiled to Uremia Central Prison.

Lack of Medical Attention for the Arab Political Prisoners in Ahwaz

HRANA News Agency – The political and civil rights prisoners in Ahwaz are deprived of medical attention or medical furlough.
 
Karim Dahimi, the Iranian human rights activist, reported to HRANA news agency that “the political and civil rights prisoners in Ahwaz and other prisons of Iran are deprived from basic medical attention. The system doesn’t recognize any basic rights for these prisoners. The increasing number of prisoners and inadequate space has urged building of new prisons; however the problem of significantly large population of prisoners remains unresolved.” He added “despite the extremely hot weather of 50oC, the prisoners live in prisons with dramatically bad air conditioning system. Lack of cooling water system has forced the prisoners to use tap water, which has resulted in increasingly high number of patients with kidney stones. Diseases associated with digestive system and intestines are common problems largely related to inadequate drinking water.” He also indicated: “recently, the human rights activists in Ahwaz have been informed of a list of common diseases amongst the political Arab prisoners.  The authorities have limited or banned the prisoners’ access to medical treatment.” Continue reading “Lack of Medical Attention for the Arab Political Prisoners in Ahwaz”

Baluchi prisoner dies in suspicious circumstances in Orumieh prison

HRANA News Agency – Ali Narouee was found dead in Orumieh prison, West Azerbaijan province of Iran, on 20 February 2014.

HRANA News Agency – Samko Khelghati, the Kurdish political prisoner, has been transferred from Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj to the ward 350 in Evin prison in Tehran.

Mohammad Amin Agoushi in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Despite the disease of Mohammad Amin Agoushi, the prisoner of Central prison of Zahedan, he is deprived of proper medical treatments.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Agoushi, the 54 years old retired teacher and citizen of Piranshahr who is serving his 10 years in prison in exile sentence has been deprived of proper medical treatments.
 
An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “Agoushi is diagnosed with mumps disease but when he went to the clinic he did not receive any treatment. As a result, this political prisoner started self-treatment by using traditional treatments and with the help of his inmates.”
 
He has requested for medical furlough from authorities but the persecutors of Uremia and Zahedan had rejected them.
 
This prisoner of central prison of Zahedan, aligned with Iraj Mohammadi and Ahmad Pooladkhani were arrested on 2007, have charged with espionage for Kurdistan regime and fight against God’s wills, by cooperating with conflicting groups.
 
He had been transferred to central prison of Uremia after serving 7 months in solitary confinement and after a trial in branch number two of military court, sentenced to death by fire scout.
 
The sentence was confirmed by Supreme Court but the case went into the process again in branch number one of military court and he and the two other prisoners were sentenced to 10 years in prison in exile.

The mass arrests of Turkish activists still going on

HRANA News Agency – The massive wave of Turkish civil activists’ arrests, in the international mother tongue day is going on.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some other Turkish activists who have gathered for international mother tongue day, in Mr. Fathi’s house in Tehran-Akbar Abad, have been arrested by intelligence forces, on Friday February 21st.
 
Intelligence service and security forces rushed to this gathering and arrested some of Azeri activists. Yet it is known that Alireza Farshi, Akbar Azad, Esrafil Soltanian, Mojtaba Mousavi, Behnam Seifi and Behnam Fathi are between detainees.
 
This gathering took two hours long and near 100 people had attended. Due to low number of intelligence forces some guests could open the door and exit from Mr. Fathi’s house.
 
Available sources addressed the intelligence department of police as an administrator and responsible for this operation. There is no information about the place that detainees are transferred.
 
Need to be mentioned, the day before, on Thursday almost 50 political and civil Azeri activists who had gathered for international mother tongue day were arrested in Mr. Akbar Aboulzadeh’s house.

Tens of Turk activists have been arrested in Ahar
