HRANA News Agency – When Mohammad Abdollahi’s family went to Uremia Prison to receive his corpse, the authorities confirmed the execution but refused to deliver the body. They were told that they were not allowed to hold a funeral in any mosque and they would not receive the corpse.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the authorities of Uremia Central Prison confirmed the execution of Mohammad Abdollahi, refused to deliver his body to his family and prohibited them from holding funeral in a mosque. HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, political prisoner and 5 drug offenders were executed today in Central Prison of Uremia. Mohammad Abdollahi’s lawyer had insisted on his client’s innocence and asked the authorities to halt the execution.

Families of Death Row Prisoners Gathered in front of Uremia Prison

HRANA News Agency – The families of 7 prisoners who are scheduled to be executed tomorrow have gathered in front of Uremia Prison. The authorities have told them: “Don’t gather here. We’ll call you to come and receive the corpses.” Some have been reported to be arrested in this gathering. The authorities have threatened the families that if they would have contact with the media, they would not receive the corpses.

Mohammad Abdollahi’s Lawyer: “My Client Was Never Treated Legally.”

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Ahmadian, Mohammad Abdollahi’s lawyer made some new remarks about the injustice and illegal procedures in his client’s case. He called on the authorities to halt or postpone the execution until the judicial procedure has been completed.

A Woman among the Prisoners Scheduled to Be Executed Tomorrow in Uremia Prison

HRANA News Agency – The number of prisoners who are going to be executed in Uremia prison tomorrow has been reported to be 7 including an imprisoned woman from women’s ward of this prison. A couple have been both transferred to solitary confinements to be executed. Their 3-year-old who had been born in the prison was given to his father’s family outside the prison last night.

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, political prisoner in Uremia Prison and at least 5 other prisoners have been transferred to solitary confinements to be executed. Mohammad Abdollahi had been on hunger strike for 32 days in protest at the “unjust” verdict and the way of handling his case since May 29, 2016 and accepted to end his strike after the authorities had promised him to agree with his retrial.

HRANA News Agency – At least 20 prisoners were executed last week in Rajaei Shahr prison. Among them Shahram Ahmadi was the most known in the media. 4 Executed Sunni Prisoners Explain Their Cases / Video Footage

HRANA News Agency – At least 20 Sunni prisoners were executed by hanging in Rajaei Shahr prison, all of whom were charged with membership or cooperation with Tohid and Jihad group. These prisoners were arrested about 8 years ago. Jahangir Dehghani, Jamshid Dehghani, Kamal Moulayi and Hamed Ahmadi were four prisoners that had a chance to publish what their case was made of and what they were accused of. HRANA had published this video in 2013, but due to importance of clarification about the process of these cases, we publish this video again.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on August 4, the Intelligence Ministry published a statement about the case that is famous as Tohid and Jihad and by giving some explanations accused them to have ties with terrorist activities.
