Reza Shahabi is in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency- Reza Shahabi -labour activist- was transferred to clinic of Evin prison following his severe illness.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi has been urgently transferred to health clinic of Evin prison on Monday 25th November for sever back pain and numbness in legs.

 

According to a trusted source of news, HARANA reports : “Reza Shahabi was not able to walk any more but was refusing to go to clinic in support of Esmail Barzegari who is in his 32th day of hunger strike and also protesting against failure to address Esmail Brzegari, Mohamad Jarahi and Shahrokh Zamani’s demands by prison officials. “

 

“After being taken to Evin clinic by other prisoners, he has been transferred back to ward 350 after only one sedative injected. “

 

This source of news also referred to the current situation of Reza Shahabi:” he is in a serious condition. He hardly can walk and if so has to bend over to be able to move. “

 

This source of information also said:” Saeed Matinpour, another prisoner with similar sever back problems has neither been referred to health clinic nor even had temporary release from prison.”

Municipal workers of Behbahan on strike

HRANA News Agency – Mayor of Behbahan announced that a number of city council workers are on strike because of being unpaid for months.

The workers of critical units in Qazvin demanding their unpaid wages

HRANA News Agency – The workers forum of Qazvin published an open letter to Ali Rabei -Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare – at his first visit to Qazvin province.

 

Ilna reports that the workers forum of Qazvin in this letter mentioned that Qazvin, which is an industrial area, have 3200 industrial unit but (in the most optimistic way), 50% of them are already closed down or about to close and half of them are working under their production capacity. Three labor activists summoned and arrested

HRANA News Agency – The human rights sources report that two labor activists are arrested and one more summoned.

Bukan cement factory shut down

HRANA News Agency – Bukan’s cement factory in West Azerbaijan province, is shut won due to running out of fuel and 500 workers are unemployed.

Reza Shahabi is denied medical furlough

HRANA News Agency – Although the doctors have recommended Reza Shahabi to be under hydrotherapy and physiotherapy the authorities do not allow him to go on a medical furlough.

300 workers have not received their wages since 7-11 months ago

HRANA News Agency – 300 workers who work for Yasouj municipality have not been paid their wages for months as the employers related to the municipality did not deposit the money.

Shahrokh Zamani is sentenced to another six months in prison

HRANA News Agency – After being tried once more, Shahrokh Zamani has been sentenced to another six months in prison.

 

According to the report of committee to support Shahrokh Zamani, this labor activist who was sentenced to 11 years in prison on charge of establishing the socialistic group and propagating against the regime, was transferred to branch 2 of Tabriz revolutionary court to be tried once more on charge of insulting on the Supreme Leader. One hundred tea factories are completely shut down

HRANA News Agency – There are 180 tea factories in north of Iran 100 of which have been shut down and the other 80 are functioning part time.

HRANA News Agency – The envoy of contracted employers of Lovashan cement factory announced dismissal of 76 employees who were employed by Khoshaiand Khazar company.
