HRANA News Agency – Ghasem Exiri Fard, University lecturer, who has been disqualified for “his womanlike voice” ‘by Khajeh Nasir University, has attempted to sit-in in front of the headquarters of this University.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday during this lecturer’s sit-in, several plainclothes tried to prevent him from standing in front of Khajeh Nasir University’s office and threatened him that he was going to be hit and arrested. HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labor rights’ activist has been transferred to ward number 2 of Rajaei Shahr prison, which is known as Dar-al-Quran ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), ward number 2 of Rajaei Shahr prison which is known as Dar-al-Quran ward, is a special religious ward in which group praying and reading Quran is mandatory and different groups of prisoners including dangerous ones are kept together. Prisoners would receive some benefits like visits, furlough and pardon, in return to practicing in religious rituals. HRANA News Agency –  Younes Asakereh, Khuzestani peddler citizen, who had set himself in fire to protest harassment and destroying his stall by municipal officials,  was transferred to a hospital in Tehran, due to his critical situation.

HRANA News Agency – Milad Darvish, labour activist is one of the detainees in recent gathering of teachers, and after twelve days of detention in ward 2A in Evin prison, has been released on a bail of 50 million Tomans.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Milad Darvish, labor activist, filmmaker, member of “Environmental Foundation of Sanctity of Life”, and honorary member of the Teachers’ Union, who had been arrested by the security forces at teachers’ peaceful protesting demonstration; on Sunday 1st of March, in front of the Islamic Parliament, was released from ward 2A of Evin prison on bail of fifty million Tomans after twelve days in detention.
