According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi Zakaria, the labor activist and political prisoner of ward 350 of Evin prison, who was hospitalized in a medical center outside the prison due to his spinal problem, has been sent back to prison by a sudden order of the prosecutor despite disagreement of physicians. An imprisoned trade unionist is exiled to Ghezel Hesar Prison

Behnam Ebrahim Zadeh is on hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahim Zadeh, the prisoner of ward 350 of Evin prison started hunger strike in support of inmate Dervishes.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam (As`ad) Ebrahm Zadeh, the labor activist, started his hunger strike in support of in Dervishes who are on strike and in protest to continuous deliberated medical negligence and harassment by jurisdiction officials and prisons authorities. Offensive behavior of the prison guards with a political prisoner

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahim Zadeh the political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin was inspected offensively by the police officer while being returned from the hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam(Assad) Ebrahim Zadeh, the labor activist was transferred to the hospital to treat his neck problems on February 18th but while returning to the prison he was inspected shamelessly by the prison guards being asked to be completely naked. Reza Shahabi is deprived of medical treatment

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, the labor activist and political prisoner of Evin prison is deprived of medical treatment following the order of Tehran prosecutor.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the attrition trend of following medical status and treatment of prisoners of ward 350 in Evin prison, last Sunday 2nd of January, Reza Shahbi, the labor activist and member of Sherkat-Vahed (Bus Transit) syndicates, has been deprived of continuation of his medical treatment.

 

Last Sunday and after weeks of efforts for getting permission from persecutor and coordination with hospital, Tehran’s persecutor in an order to prison authorities stopped his medical furlough and banned any presence of Reza Shahabi’s family member in hospital and has stated upon the aforesaid condition, the prisoner shall be transferred to prison without finishing his treatments.

 

This order has initialed despite the fact, which due to back problem and pain, there are months that movement became hard for Reza Shahbi and visiting a professional physician was a need. Besides, the presence of the family was for ease of getting medicine and following bureaucratic medical procedure, which prison’s authorities refused to do elaborately.

 

Later, the Tehran deputy prosecutor, Mr. Khodabakhsh initialed similar order for Mehi Khodaei, the other prisoner of ward 350, which caused issues for this prisoner.

Reza Shahabi is in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency- Reza Shahabi -labour activist- was transferred to clinic of Evin prison following his severe illness.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi has been urgently transferred to health clinic of Evin prison on Monday 25th November for sever back pain and numbness in legs.

 

According to a trusted source of news, HARANA reports : “Reza Shahabi was not able to walk any more but was refusing to go to clinic in support of Esmail Barzegari who is in his 32th day of hunger strike and also protesting against failure to address Esmail Brzegari, Mohamad Jarahi and Shahrokh Zamani’s demands by prison officials. “

 

“After being taken to Evin clinic by other prisoners, he has been transferred back to ward 350 after only one sedative injected. “

 

This source of news also referred to the current situation of Reza Shahabi:” he is in a serious condition. He hardly can walk and if so has to bend over to be able to move. “

 

This source of information also said:” Saeed Matinpour, another prisoner with similar sever back problems has neither been referred to health clinic nor even had temporary release from prison.”

Municipal workers of Behbahan on strike

HRANA News Agency – Mayor of Behbahan announced that a number of city council workers are on strike because of being unpaid for months.

The workers of critical units in Qazvin demanding their unpaid wages

HRANA News Agency – The workers forum of Qazvin published an open letter to Ali Rabei -Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare – at his first visit to Qazvin province.

 

Ilna reports that the workers forum of Qazvin in this letter mentioned that Qazvin, which is an industrial area, have 3200 industrial unit but (in the most optimistic way), 50% of them are already closed down or about to close and half of them are working under their production capacity.
