A Fisherman Killed by IRGC Forces
HRANA News Agency – Local fishing boats engaged in catching fish in the area of Turkmensahra, were deliberately run over by speedboats of sea guards forces. In the incident a young fisherman lost his live. Killing frontier citizens by border guards is one of the topics considered by the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran.

Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Exiled to ‘Dangerous Prisoners” Ward
HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labor activist in Rajai Shahr prison, was exiled to the ward of “dangerous prisoners” by order of the prison director.

HRANA News Agency – Mahmoud Mazraeh, citizen of Ahvaz, has been detained by the intelligence office in this city, since late October, but has not had a phone call or a visit with his family.

No Hot Watter in Urmia Central Prison
HRANA News Agency – It is more than two months that the hot water is cut off for all wards of Urmia Central Prison and the prisoners have been using hot water which was boiled in the pot, for the bathroom. The prisoners’ frequent follow-ups have had no results and the authorities’ last answer mentions the lack of funds for “replacing the prison’s boiler”.

HRANA News Agency – Soheil Babadi, prisoner of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, was transferred to Bandar Abbas to serve his sentence of two years of exile, after enduring five years of imprisonment.
According to the report of the Human Rights News Agencey in Iran (HRANA), Soheil Babadi, prisoner of Hall 12 in ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, upon the request to apply Article 134 on his case and the reduction of the sentence to five years imprisonment, on the completion of his imprisonment time, was sent to the city of Bandar Abbas to serve a sentence of two years in exile, on January 25, 2017. Masoumeh Zia under Detention by the Order of Court of Media and Culture
HRANA News Agency – Tehran court of culture and media, issued a one-month detention order for Masoumeh (Pegah) Zia and the interrogator has informed her family that that should immediately hire a lawyer for her. Ms. Zia was arrested in Tehran Imam Khomeini airport while returning from a trip abroad.
