HRANA News Agency – On October 26, two prisoners committed suicide in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. One of the prisoners died and the other remains in coma. It is said the prisoners who had attempted suicide due to the pressures of the recent mass executions and fear of death.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on October 26, 2016, two death row prisoners in section 2 of hall 2 of Ghezelhesar Prison in Karaj committed suicide, one of whom died and another is hospitalized in coma. At Least 11 Prisoners Executed in Ghezelhesar Prison / Additional Information
HRANA News Agency – The identity of another executed prisoner was confirmed by HRANA, and the number of confirmed executions reached to 11. This is while the judiciary and parliament members have continuously talked about their plans for reduction of execution for prisoners with drug related charges.

Golrokh Irai Arrested and Transferred to Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Irai, Arash Sadeghi’s wife was arrested by security forces. They broke the house door and transferred her to Evin prison in order to serve her sentence.

Arrested Participants of Reyhaneh Jabbari’s Memorial Released
HRANA News Agency – All of the people who had been arrested by security forces during the memorial of Reyhaneh Jabbari, in Behsht-e-Zahra, were released. Previously HRANA had reported that security forces had used violence and broken many of the provided equipment for the ceremony, dismantled the platform and gathered the chairs and told the guests to leave.

Behnam Ibrahimzadeh Transferred to Hall 12 of Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Rajaei Shahr prison security forces interrogated and seized the diary of Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labour activist. He was forcefully transferred from ward 2 of Dar-Al-Quran to hall number 12 of political-security prisoners in ward number 4, by the excuse of going to clinic.

Riot Police Attacked the 2nd Day of Peaceful Assembly of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters
HRANA News Agency – Units of riot police in Tehran attacked the second day of peaceful assembly of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters outside the Baqiatullah Hospital in Tehran and beat them and used tear gas and possibly detained a number of participants, attempting to disperse the demonstrators.

Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Lawyer ‘Looking Forward to His Freedom.’
HRANA News Agency – Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabai, one of the lawyers of Mohammad Ali Taheri, announced that following the announcement on “Prosecution Discontinuance” for his client, he is going to follow Mr. Taheri’s freedom’s process. The lawyer has implicitly confirmed his client’s hunger strike that Mr. Taheri called it “Fasting”.

A Report about 3 Imprisoned Activists of the Right to Education
