Ali Moezi Exiled to Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ali Moezi, political prisoner in ward eight of Evin prison, who had been exiled to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj after protesting against the conflict between general crime prisoners and political prisoners, and had been returned from Rajai Shahr prison due to defects in documents, after being kept in an undecided condition in the quarantine of these two prisons for 15 days, finally was transferred to Hall 12 of political prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison. Mr. Moezi has no good health condition and because of his disease he has “continuous bleeding” in his intestine.

Amir Amirgholi’s Sentence Reduced to 8 Years

HRANA News Agency – The sentence of 19 years and six months imprisonment for Amir (Ali) Amirgholi, political prisoner at Evin prison, was reduced to 8 years in the Court of Appeal.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), branch 36 of the Tehran Appeals Court, presided by judge Qomizadeh, reduced the sentence of 19 years and six months imprisonment for Amir (Ali) Amirgholi to eight years imprisonment. Hasan Rastegari Majd Sentenced to Another Year in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hasan Rastegari Majd, Turkish-Iranian citizen and political prisoner of Uremia central prison, was sentenced to another one year in prison on charge of propaganda against the regime. This sentence was issued while the attorney general had dropped the charges, but the prosecutor appealed and he was tried again.

2 Musician Brothers on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi and Hossain Rajabian, two imprisoned artists, have started a hunger strike in protest to changing their wards. They started this protest in response to their separation as a punishment, which came after the discussion between them and the supervisor prosecutor of the prison.

A Prisoner Executed in Taibad

HRANA News Agency – A 31-year-old prisoner with drug related charges was hanged in Khorasan province.

According to the report of Human rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hadi Oskoee, 31, from Taibad countryside was executed with on drug related charges in the morning of September 25.

It is worth noting that his brother had been executed with the same charge few years ago.

A close source to his family told HRANA’s reporter: “In Taibad, prisoner are executed without any notification even without notification to their families and there is no last meeting in this prison.”

Prison Guards Raid Different Wards of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – By the order of Mohammad Mardani, head of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, anti-riot police of this prison, in an unusual inspection of some of the halls of ward 4, attempted to beat a large number of prisoners and destructed their properties. During the investigation which is said to be done in order to stop the reports of human rights violations from Rajai Shahr prison, TVs and even the walls of some of the cells were destroyed. There is no information about the fate of prisoners who have been beaten.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), about 100 anti-riot forces of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, under the pretext of inspection attempted to beat prisoners and destroy their properties.
