Abdolfattah Soltani Sent To Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Abdolfattah Soltani, lawyer and political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison, was sent to furlough unexpectedly and attended his mother’s fortieth day of mourning on June 26.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Abdolfattah Soltani, imprisoned lawyer was sent to furlough on June 26 while he had requested to see his mother, but the delay of prison officials led to her death without seeing her son. The Supreme Court Upheld the Death Sentence of Shahram Ahmadi
HRANA News Agency – The request for a retrial by Shahram Ahmadi, Sunni prisoner of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj who had been sentenced to death was rejected. Few days ago, the executive judge showed up in Sunni prisoners’ ward and told those whose death sentences had been upheld to prepare themselves for execution.

Said Jafari Summoned to the Court
HRANA News Agency – The initial sentence of 18 months imprisonment on charges of insulting the president and other officials for Said Jafari, resident of Gonbad-e-Kavus was confirmed. He was summoned to police as well as the third branch of the Public Revolutionary Court for unknown reasons.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Said Jafari, resident of Gonbad-e-Kavus had been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment on charges of insulting the president and other officials which was confirmed by Branch 104 of the Penal Court of the city of Gonbad-e-Kavus. Pressures Grow on Political Prisoners in Rajaee Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – In the wake of the on-going persecution and restrictions on political prisoners of Rajaee Shahr prison in Karaj, at least ten prisoners were deprived of going to the clinic due to refusing to wear prison slippers. Some of these prisoners were deprived of weekly visits with the families for the same reason.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran’s Furlough Won’t be Extended
HRANA News Agency – On June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused the extended medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran, former imprisoned Christian in women’s ward of Evin prison although she needs further treatments. By regard to this, she should show up in the prison soon.  Ms. Zargaran had been sent to medical leave after eleven days of hunger strike. She has written a letter in this regard and her status which was provided for HRANA.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on June 19, Tehran’s prosecutor’s office has refused to extend the medical leave of Maryam Naghash Zargaran who had been sent to medical furlough after eleven days of hunger strike on June 6. Leila Abdi Nejad Might be Released on the Bail
HRANA News Agency – The bail of 2 billion IRR was issued for Leila Abdi Nejad, Christian convert from Mehrshahr of Karaj who earlier was reported to be held in ward 209 of Evin prison.

A Prisoner Died in Parsilon Prison of Khorramabad
RANA News Agency – Iman Rashidi Yeganeh, prisoner in Parsilon Prison of Khorramabad who suffered serious physical and psychological problems, was returned to prison by the judge’s order despite doctor’s opinion and only a week later lost his life in the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Iman Rashidi Yeganeh imprisoned on drug-related charges in Parsilon Prison of Khorramabad died on June 10, following the lack of proper medical care and delay in being transferred to hospital. A Report about the Latest Status of Amirnozar Nouripour
HRANA News Agency – Amirnozar Nouripour allegedly accused of cooperating with a Facebook satire page was arrested in 2012 and sentenced to ten years and sent to Evin prison in April of 2014. Although the court of the appeal confirmed his verdict, his sentence was reduced to thirty months imprisonment following the enforcement of the new Islamic Penal Code. He is now serving his sentence in Evin prison.
Amirnozar Nouripour, Hamid Khoshseir, Soheil Babadi, Yaser Hamidi, Kourosh (Mohammad) Nasiri along with several other Iranians were arrested in May 2012 with the charge of involvement in “The Campaign to Remind Shiites about Imam Naghi “by members of Ministry of Intelligence and IRGC in a joint operation.
