HRANA News Agency ā After insulting the sanctities of Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj by the authorities and the prisonersā protests, the atmosphere in the prison was tense and prison guards were positioned at the entrance of Hall 21 to control the situation. HRANA News Agency ā At leastĀ eightĀ prisoners of conscience namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Maryam Naghash Zargararn, MohammadĀ Sediq Kaboudvand, Rasoul Razavi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Mohammad Abdollahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo areĀ still on hunger strike in various prisons in protest to their situations. The physical condition of some of them has deteriorated. On the one hand doctors of Taleghani Hospital are trying to stop Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvandās Potassium shortage. On the other hand, Jafar Azimzadeh was transferred to the Shohada Hospital on June 1, 2016 following the deterioration of his condition.Ā Moreover, theĀ prisoners, Arash MokriĀ and Mohammad AminĀ AgoshiĀ alsoĀ were on hunger strike last month, butĀ theĀ continuationĀ or endĀ of their strikeĀ is not known.
