Sajedeh Arabsorkhi is summoned to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency- Sajedeh Arabsorkhi is summoned to serve a one year prison sentence at Evin Prison.

Sajedeh Arabsorkhi is the daughter of Feyzollah Arabsorkhi a political activist and a member of Iranian Reformist party.

Manuchher Kholousi’s trial adjourned in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Manuchher Kholousi, a Bahai from Mashhad, was tried on July 8.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA),  he was charged with “acting against national security by giving interviews with foreign media.” However no interviews with Mr. Kholousi are known, in either Iranian or foreign media. A Kurdish student sentenced to imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Miad Ahmadi , from   Sanandaj  city , received a 5 year suspended jail sentence and a fine of 5,000,000 Tomans due to his political activities on Facebook.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Miad Ahmadi –a student of Architecture at Sanandaj Azad University- was arrested on 9th April by intelligence security officers. He was kept at custody for a month at the Ministry of Intelligence and National Security and then he was transferred to the Central Prison of Sanandaj. An Iranian computer expert was tried by the revolutionary court

HRANA News Agency – Morteza Taradiun, the Iranian computer network expert, who had served 6 months in Evin prison last year, has gone to trial again.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Morteza Taradiun, was arrested on charge of acts against national security and espionage for conflicting governments by hacking, on September 4, 2013. After two months in solitary confinements of ward 240, and two more months in ward 209, his was charged with collusion and action against national security. A Bahai citizen arrested in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Saqi Feda’i, a Bahai from Mashhad, was arrested by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence on July 8.

HRANA News Agency – Farhad Sadeqi, one of the imprisoned teachers from the Bahai Open University (BIHE), has returned to prison after five days of prison leave.

Abdolfattah Soltani in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Abdolfattah Soltani was transferred to prison clinic due to hypotension and heart complications, but in contrast with recommendation of the physicians regarding his need for chocardiography, he was sent back to the ward.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he had experienced hypotension and heart complications on July 6th and consequently was transferred to clinic to be examined. Prison physician recommended that for precise diagnosis echocardiography is required which is not possible to be performed in prison. 2 Sunnis arrested a month ago still have no contact with family

HRANA News Agency – Two Sunni activists who were arrested in Iran a month ago have still not been allowed to contact their families.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 21-year old Mohammad Darabi, the son of the Friday prayer Imam for Rejaw in Kermanshah, northwestern Iran, was active in Sunni religious activities and involved in religious work. Court of Appeals confirms prison sentence for Sunni preacher

HRANA News Agency – The Court of Appeals in Tehran has confirmed the six-year prison sentence for Sunni preacher Foad Rezazadeh just months after he was reportedly tortured by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence in order to force him to sign false ‘confessions’.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Foad Rezazadeh was sentenced to six years imprisonment by judge Mohammad Moghisseh in Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on 8 January 2014.
