Maryam Sadat Yahyavi, a Civil Rights’ Activist arrested

HRANA News Agency – According to the sources close to Maryam Sadat Yahyavi- a Civil Rights’ Activist who supports Iranian government- Ms Yahyavi was arrested on November 2nd. Her arrest took place while she is diagnosed with an advanced Cancer condition and has been going under chemo-therapy.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), close sources to Maryam Sadat Yahyavi – Anti-government Civil Activist – told HRANA reporter that on Sunday afternoon Ms Maryam Sadat Yahyavi was arrested at her house by security forces and has been transferred to an unknown location. Prisoners forced to participate in religious ceremony

HRANA News Agency – Authorities of Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, forced the prisoners to attend the religious ceremony of A’shora in cold weather, while they lacked warm clothes and Prison officials would not allow jackets and warm clothes to be brought in even by prisoners’ families.

Sentence of Susan Tabyaniyan confirmed

HRANA News Agency – The review court has confirmed the sentence of Susan Tabyaniyan, a Bahai from Semnan who was arrested on May 31, 2014.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), she was sentenced to one year in prison and the confiscation of all possessions connected to the Bahai Faith by Judge Amiri, sitting in Bench 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Semnan. Conviction of a Bakery worker for owning satellite TV equipment

HRANA News Agency – “Mahmoud Soroush”, a Bakery worker was sentenced to pay 50,000 Tomans by a court in Khomien on the charges of using satellite TV equipment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in late June 2014, Mahmoud Soroush, son of Mustafa, a citizen of Khomien County in Isfahan state was arrested at his work place (Bakery) by Intelligence forces. Deceased Bahai girl denied burial in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Over a week has passed since twelve-year-old Mahna Samandari died from an illness, on October 21, but her parents have not been allowed to bury her.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mahna’s parents, who suffer from physical handicaps, are not only grieving the loss of their daughter but are devastated by “regulations” that deny them the right to bury their child in the local cemetery of Tabriz.
