Ebrahim Firoozi Sentenced to Imprisonment and Exile

HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Firoozi, a Christian convert prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, has been sentenced to 1 year in prison and two years in exile in Sarbaz city.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ebrahim Firozi, Christian convert in his last arrest, on 25th August 2013, was sentenced by the Revolutionary court in Robat Karim city to one year in prison and two years of exile in Sarbaz city. 2 Christians Released from Karoon Prison in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Baronzadeh (Daniel) and Rahman Bahman (Zia) were released after 10 months from Karoon prison in Ahvaz.

An Ordinary Prisoner on Hunger Strike at Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Payam A’varzamani who has been sentenced to 16 years imprisonment, has gone on hunger strike to protest against this heavy conviction since two weeks ago.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Payam A’varzamani, born in 1975, ordinary crime prisoner in Evin prison has been sentenced to 16 years in prison. HRANA News Agency – Masood Shamsnezhad, Kurdish lawyer who is currently in workers’ ward of Uremia prison, has gone hunger strike since 6 days ago.

HRANA New Agency – There is no information about Salman Khalilpour who has recently been exiled from Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj to Dizelabad prison in Kermanshah and this condition is a cause of concern for his family.

Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Faces New Charges

HRANA News Agency – A new case has been opened for Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labour activist, on charge of holding connection with Ahmad Shahid and one of the political groups, and he has been immediately taken to one of the wards in Rajai Shahr prison which belongs to prisoners with violent convictions.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, labour activist,  was transferred from ward 12 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj to Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Salvati, on Wednesday 3rd December. Two Christian Citizens Released from Karaj Prison

HRANA News Agency – Seyed Abdulreza Ali Haghnejad and Reza Rabani, two new converted to Christianity citizens and prisoners of central prison of Karaj, were acquitted and released from prison.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Seyed Abdulreza Ali Haghnejad and Reza Rabani, two prisoners of central prison of Karaj were previously sentenced to 6 years in prison and exile to Minab and Bandar Abbas Prisons, however the appeal court and dropped their charges, on Sunday, December 14. According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the deterioration of physical condition of Mohammad Hassan Yousefpoor Saifi, civil rights activist and prisoner of ward 350 of Evin prison, after preliminary examination in prison clinic he was sent to a hospital outside the prison. Ali Sallanpoor Transferred to Prison Without Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Ali Sallanpoor, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, has been transferred to prison without completion of medical treatment after surgery operation.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Sallanpoor, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, who was sent to Shohada-e-Tajrish hospital in Tehran after a long delay on November 24 due to his sever health condition, was transferred to hall number 12 of Rajaei shahr prison after the surgery and without completion of normal treatments, on December 13.
