Forensic agreed to transfer Hamid Babaei to a hospital outside prison

HRANA News Agency – After 6 months, the forensic in Evin prison agreed to send Hamid Babaei to medical centers for treatment outside the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamid Babaei is a Finance PhD student at the University Of Liege, Belgium, who was arrested in August last year after returning to Iran, and was imprisoned and sentenced to ten years (6 years prison and 4 years suspended imprisonment) and is held in Evin prison since then. Two Bahais sentenced in Yazd for facebook postings

HRANA News Agency – Ms. Tannaz Mohammedi and Mr. Iraj Lohrasb, who were arrested in their homes in Yazd on June 29, 2014, have been sentenced by the revolutionary court in Yazd, after more than four months in detention.

Faran Hessami gets 3-day leave

HRANA News Agency – Faran Hessami, who is serving a four-year sentence for educational activities with the Bahai Open University (BIHE), has been granted a 3-day furlough.

Ambiguity on the elimination of “death caused by Acid attacks” report

HRANA News Agency – “Zendegi Salem” is news – analytic, domestic website which is authorized by the government for its activities. In less than 3 weeks after publishing a report about a death of a victim by Acid attacks in Isfahan, the site removed the report from its domain without any explanation. This would add to the ambiguity around the validity of this report and the role of security forces in elimination of it.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on 19 October 2014 the domestic legitimate website, “ Zendegi salem” which usually covers news about Isfahan state , published a report on its domain titled “ Acid attacks on 3 girls in Isfahan killed one” . Two Sunni Baloch prisoners executed in Iran

HRANA News Agency – Two Sunni prisoners of conscience from Iran’s Baloch minority were executed on Thursday morning in Zahedan Central prison, Sistan-Baluchestan province of Iran.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 22-year old Vahid Shah Bakhsh and 23-year old Mahmoud Shah Bakhsh were taken to the gallows and hanged on 13 November 2014 on charges of ‘Moharabeh [enmity against God] and acting against national security’. Abdolreza Ghanbari transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Abdolreza Ghanbari, political prisoner, who was a teacher, was transferred to war 12 of Rajai Shahr prison after 9-month exile in Boraz Jaan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Farsi literature teacher in one of the Pakdasht schools, Abdolreza Ghanbari, a university professor, who was arrested during the Ashura in 2010 and was earlier charged with combat through relation with opposition groups by holding suspicious email accounts and contact with foreign medias, had been sentenced to execution by the Islamic Revolutionary Court, branch 15. A number of civilians arrested in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Following the death of “Morteza Pashai”, Iranian popular singer, musician and songwriter, spontaneous gatherings were held around the nation in Iran by the fans of the deceased, and in some cases it was associated with conflict and detention of civilians by the security forces.

Arson destroys Bahai-owned houses in rural Hamadan

HRANA News Agency – On November 3, which coincided with the day of Ashura on Muharram 10, a mob gathered at a cottage belonging to the Hemmati family in the mountain village of Auj Tappeh, which lies to the south of Qazvin.

Mahna Samandari and Narges Khatounbarqi buried in Miandoab

HRANA News Agency – Mahna Samandari and Narges Khatounbarqi, two Bahais from Tabriz whose burial in the city has been blocked because of their religious beliefs, have been taken to Miandoab by local officials and buried in the Bahai cemetery there, without informing the families of the deceased.

Critical condition of Mohammad Ali Taheri during his Hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – “Mohammad Ali Taheri”, a prisoner of conscience is in life threatening health condition because of his hunger strike.  After 23 days of hunger strike, he is extremely weak and has been recovered several times over the past couple of days from unconsciousness by injecting fluids and drugs at prison’s clinic.

HRANA reports based on the news from “Sahamnews”, this prisoner has been on hunger strike in protest to his case which remained open in the charges of “Corruption on earth”. His instigators attempting to keep him at solitary confinement and use this time to create more evidence and grounds to prosecute him at a “Kangaroo court”  to give him a death sentence.
