HRANA News Agency – The pressures have increased on religious minorities in Iran in recent months. At least 31 Christians, including 3 citizens of Azerbaijan Republic have been arrested in Isfahan, Tehran and Firoozkooh. 19 of these are under detention and the fate of 11 people is not known yet.

4 Sunni Turkmens Acquitted of Charge of Membership in Daesh
HRANA News Agency – 4 Sunni Turkmens were acquitted of charges of Membership in Daesh in Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Gorgan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Yones Nafsi, Abdulhay Agh Atabay, Mohammed Safa Moradi Gonbad and Vahid Yazdanparast, four Sunni Turkmen religious activists who had been tried on charges of acting against national security and membership in Daesh, were acquitted in Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Gorgan. A Report about the Condition of 51 Sunni Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – After the “Black Monday” when 37 Sunni prisoner under high security conditions were transferred to solitary confinements and the execution of at least 20 of them, currently 51 Sunni prisoners with different sentences including death row ones in ward number 7 are serving under stress and daily fear.

No Information about 5 Arrested Christians
HRANA News Agency – After one week since the arrest of 5 Christians in Firoozkooh, there is no information about the place that they are being detained at. Their names has not been registered in any of Tehran’s prisons and efforts made by their families and lawyers had no result.

7 Christians Arrested in Firoozkooh
HRANA News Agency – On August 26, seven Christian converts who had gone to Firoozkooh with their families were detained by the Intelligence Ministry. Two of these citizens were released immediately but the whereabouts and condition of five others are unknown so far.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on August 26, Ramin Bet Tamers, Amin Afshar Naderi, Hadi Asgari, Mohamad Dehnavard and Amir Saman Dashti with their wives had gone to Firoozkooh for fishing and picnics. Around 1:30 PM, Ministry of Intelligence agents attacked them and separated the men from women. Amin Afshar Naderi asked them for a warrant but they refused to show a warrant and beat him. HRANA News Agency – Nasim Bagheri, one the instructors of Bahi Online University, was arrested in June 2011 and sentenced to 4 years in prison. She is suffering from thyroid but despite multiple requests for furlough has been deprived of it.

Families of Executed Sunni Prisoners; Targets of Authorities’ Harassments
HRANA News Agency – After mass execution of at least 20 Sunni prisoners in Rajaei Shahr on August 1st, some of their family members were witnessed they are buried, now these families are stuck in a disturbing game and left in bewilderment. Some officials in Behsht-e-Zahra (cemetery) told these families who went to request for some service related to the graves that they were empty, and after these families tried to get some information from Rajaei Shahr prison, the authorities told that, “They were just transferred there; they are not dead that you are looking for their graves”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families of executed Sunni prisoners of Rajaei Shahr became the victim of disturbing answers of authorities during their efforts to receive normal services by the cemetery.
