7 Christians Arrested in Firoozkooh

HRANA News Agency – On August 26, seven Christian converts who had gone to Firoozkooh with their families were detained by the Intelligence Ministry. Two of these citizens were released immediately but the whereabouts and condition of five others are unknown so far.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on August 26, Ramin Bet Tamers, Amin Afshar Naderi, Hadi Asgari, Mohamad Dehnavard and Amir Saman Dashti with their wives had gone to Firoozkooh for fishing and picnics. Around 1:30 PM, Ministry of Intelligence agents attacked them and separated the men from women. Amin Afshar Naderi asked them for a warrant but they refused to show a warrant and beat him. A Report on Nasim Bagheri’s Situation in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Nasim Bagheri, one the instructors of Bahi Online University, was arrested in June 2011 and sentenced to 4 years in prison. She is suffering from thyroid but despite multiple requests for furlough has been deprived of it.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Nasim Bagheri, Bahai citizen and one of the instructors of Bahai Online University was arrested during the security forces operations against Bahais houses and instructors, in July 2011, and released on the bail after few hours. Families of Executed Sunni Prisoners; Targets of Authorities’ Harassments

HRANA News Agency – After mass execution of at least 20 Sunni prisoners in Rajaei Shahr on August 1st, some of their family members were witnessed they are buried, now these families are stuck in a disturbing game and left in bewilderment. Some officials in Behsht-e-Zahra (cemetery) told these families who went to request for some service related to the graves that they were empty, and after these families tried to get some information from Rajaei Shahr prison, the authorities told that, “They were just transferred there; they are not dead that you are looking for their graves”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families of executed Sunni prisoners of Rajaei Shahr became the victim of disturbing answers of authorities during their efforts to receive normal services by the cemetery. Yashar Rezvani Being Kept in Ward 209 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Yashar Rezvani, a Bahai who was arrested at his home on, August 3, is still kept in solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin prison. His case has been sent to “Shahid Moghadas” court in Evin and his family has no information about his charges.

A Report about Sunni Prisoners in West Azerbaijan Province

HRANA News Agency – At least eleven Sunni civilians were arrested by the Intelligence Ministry about three months ago in Bokan and Mahabad. A number of them were recently released from prison. Some of them are still held in detention of Orumiyeh Intelligence Office and some of them have been transferred to Orumiyeh Central Prison.

11 Sunni Prisoners Are Still at the Risk of Execution

HRANA News Agency – After the execution of at least 20 Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, fears and concerns about the fate of other prisoners in the prison with the similar charges and cases have increased. Among the death row prisoners of “Tohid and Jahad” case, only two prisoners, including a juvenile offender have survived from recent mass-executions of Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj. Due to unprecedented and unexpected recent mass-executions of Sunni prisoners they spend their days in fear of a similar death along 50 Sunni prisoners in the prison, 9 of whom have also been sentenced to death.

Siavash Koliaie Interrogated and Acquitted of the Charges

HRANA News Agency – On August 11, Siavash Koliaie, Yarsan activist was interrogated. In this meeting with the prosecutor the religious activist was acquitted of the accusation and was released afterwards.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Siavash Koliaie, Yarsan activist was arrested for several hours and then released on the bail in Vineyard following the memorial ceremony of Mohammad Ghanbari (one of the Yarsan followers who set himself on fire three years ago). 11 Christians Arrested in Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – On August 12, eleven members of a house church in Isfahan were arrested and transferred to an unknown location. The fate and whereabouts of detainees remain unknown.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Ilyas, Mohsen Khubyar, Edmund Khachatvryan, Mohammad Malek Khataiee, Samaneh Shahbazifar, Arash Ghodsi, Fatemeh Amini, Maryam Zenobi, Amin Ahanin, Hamid Sepidar along with another unidentified person while having gathered to worship were arrested by plainclothes security officers. Properties of Executed Sunni Prisoners Treated as “War Booty”

HRANA News Agency – The head of Rajai Shahr prison has allowed criminal prisoners to “loot” the personal properties of executed Sunni prisoners. In response to several survivals’ protests, the prison officials said “These are the remnants of those executed as ‘war booty’ and we are free to decide about them.” However, according to the law, the belongings of the executed prisoners, belong to their heirs.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the head of ward 4 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj had opened the entrance door of Hall 10 (former hall of Sunni prisoners) where had been sealed by welding after the prisoners had been transferred for execution, and allowed the criminal prisoners to enter and loot the stuff of the executed prisoners. 5 Survivors of Sunni Prisoners’ Executions Returned to the Ward

HRANA News Agency – Five of at least 36 Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj who had been transferred to solitary confinements on this prison’s Black Monday, were taken back to Hall 7. According to Tehran prosecutor who had claimed that 20 prisoners had been executed, the number of prisoners who had not been executed must be more than this, but still there is no news about the rest of them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Farshid Naseri, Barzan Nasraollahzade, Seyed Jamal Seyed Mousavi, Farzad Shahnazari, and Teymoor Naderzadeh, five Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison, were taken back to Hall 7 of the Revolutionary Guards in Rajai Shahr prison 7 days after the Black Monday.
