HRANA News Agency – Sunni prisoner of conscience Ghasem Abesteh, who is suffering from a kidney infection, is being deprived of proper medical care by officials at Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, despite suffering from intense pain in his kidneys that has left him mostly confined to bed and unable to carry out daily activities, the prison infirmary has failed to provide treatment for the infection, instead prescribing only Paracetemol tablets. A Bahai arrested in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – On August 17, Ruhiyyeh Qavami-nik, a Bahai from Karaj, was summoned by telephone to report to the offices of the Ministry of Intelligence.

HRANA News Agency – Babak Mobasher and his father-in-law Alaeddin Khanjani were arrested around 6 a.m. yesterday when agents from the Ministry of Intelligence raided their home.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA),  Alaeddin Khanjani is the son of Jalaluldin Khanjani, one of the imprisoned “Yaran” (national facilitators for the Bahai community in Iran, while Babak Mobasher is the husband of Leva Khanjani, a Bahai excluded from tertiary education, who was freed from Evin prison after serving most of a two-year sentence on June 24, 2014. Three Baha’is in Mashhad transferred to Vakil Abad prison
