Arash Mokri on Hunger Strike in Urmia Intelligence Service since 33 Days ago

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mokri, graduate student at the University of Tabriz, who has been detained since 24th February. It is now more than two months that he has been transferred to Urmia Intelligence Service’s solitary confinement, and it is told that he has gone on hunger strike since 33 days ago, to protest against his situation.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Arash Mokri, son of Saeid, graduate student at Tabriz University, was arrested at his home and was taken to an unknown location by the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Office in Mahabad on 24th February, and his family was unaware of his whereabouts for a long time. Yashar Darulshafa Granted A 4-Day-Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Yashar Darulshafa, political prisoner in Ward 350 of Evin Prison, was released for four days on a furlough on May 6, 2016. He has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

Rauf Shahbazi Released from Hamadan Prison

HRANA News Agency – Rauf Shahbazi, imprisoned student of Hamadan University was released from Hamedan prison due to general amnesty.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Rauf Shahbazi, imprisoned student who had been sentenced to one year in prison on charges of “insulting the Islamic Republic’s founder in Cyberspace” on December 7, 2014, was released from Hamedan prison after serving six months in prison (October 25, 2015 to April 7, 2016) including 44 days of temporary detention and usage of general amnesty. The 9th Year on Death Row; Habibollah Latifi

HRANA News Agency – The execution sentence of Habibollah Latifi still remains, despite the promises of the authorities. He is still held in Sanandaj Central Prison in the ninth year of his imprisonment without furlough and visitation.

Mohammad Saeid Naderi Released after 6 Days under Detention

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Saeid Naderi, former student of Yasouj University, was released after six days of detention by the security forces.

Shokoufeh Azar Masouleh and Puria Ibrahimi Sentenced to Imprisonment and Lashes

HRANA News Agency – The verdict of Shokoufeh Azar Masouleh and Puria Ibrahimi, two civil society and social activists was issued in branch 26 of the revolutionary court headed by Judge Ahmadzadeh on March 12.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Puria Ibrahimi has been acquitted of the charges of organizing the assassination of Judge Salvati and was sentenced to two years in prison and five years of suspended imprisonment and 30 lashes on chareges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic in favor of so-called human rights organizations and groups” and “disturbing public order by participating in illegal gatherings”. Bahareh Hedayat’s Family’s Complaint Being Proceeded in Disciplinary Court of Judges

HRANA News Agency – The complaint of Bahareh Hedayat’s family against illegal detention and judicial violations, is being handled at the Disciplinary Court of Judges. The illegal imprisoning after the verdict of freedom, lack of integration of crimes, failure to apply the 134th article of the punishment law accurately and timely are the part of infractions of the judiciary in the case of  this political prisoner.

Misagh Yazdannejad Transferred to Semnan Prison

HRANA News Agency – Misagh Yazdannejad, jailed student, was exiled to Semnan prison in the 9th year of his imprisonment. This political prisoner was transferred from Evin prison on 29th February and on 2nd March had a visit with his family during a cabin meeting.
