HRANA News Agency – There has been no news on the condition or whereabouts of a Sunni youth who was arrested in Iran four days ago.

Court hearing for seven Sunni prisoners ‘deliberately’ cancelled
HRANA News Agency – A court hearing to hear the charges against seven Sunni prisoners of conscience was cancelled after the court-appointed lawyers and representatives from the Ministry of Intelligence failed to turn up.

Saeed Abedini beaten in hospital and returned to prison
HRANA News Agency- Saeed Abedini, Reverend prisoner who had been transferred to the Dey Hospital was beaten by transfer officers and was returned to prison.

4 Sunni teachers fired from their jobs
HRANA News Agency – Three Sunni teachers have been fired from their teaching jobs in the cities of Sardasht and Bukan in the West Azerbaijan province of Iran.

Sunni mosque shut down by security forces
HRANA News Agency – Masjid Rizvanshahr, a Sunni mosque in Talesh, Gilan province, was closed down by Iranian security forces on 19 May 2014.

No information about the condition of 5 arrested Christians
HRANA News Agency – The status of Ehsan Sadeghi, Maryam Asadi, Ali Arfa`, Vahid Safi and Amin Mazloomi is still unknown.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), few days ago, Ehsan Sadeghi, Maryam Asadi, Ali Arfa`, Vahid Safi, Amin Mazloomi and two more people were arrested in an attack to a church in south of Tehran, by security forces.
An informed source, based on the available evidence, introduced Mr. Sadeghi and Safi as the Afghan citizens who have been resided in Iran and newly converted to Christianity.
According to this report, some of the new converted to Christianity people who gathered in order to celebrate the Easter in Ms. Asadi’s house were arrested by security forces. The forces did not have uniform and their behavior was very insulting. After the rush, security forces started investigation and capturing books, notes and other educational stuff.
According to the most updated information regarding this case, after numerous follow up and search of some the families of arrestees to the police, the office of intelligence service and judiciaries, they have informed that this arrest was carried out by intelligence fairs of a military organization and just after the end of investigations they would be able to contact them. They have also warned that they should not publicize and interview with anonymous people.
This source added that the family of Mazloomi could talk to their child.
Sunni preacher arrested in Sanandaj, Iran
HRANA News Agency – A Sunni preacher, Arash Mehdi Khani, was arrested by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence on 18 May 2014 in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province of Iran.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he has been arrested three times previously in relation to his religious activities, and each time has been detained in solitary confinement in the Ministry of Intelligence. Two Sunni prisoners re-sentenced to death
HRANA News Agency – Two Sunni prisoners suffering from psychological illnesses are in danger of execution after their death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court in Iran.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the two men, Syed Hadi Hosseini and Seddigh Mohammadi, had ended a 7-week long hunger strike in December 2013 after being informed by lawyers that the Supreme Court had overturned their death sentences due to their psychological illnesses.
