Four prisoners were hanged on charge of rape

HRANA News Agency – In the morning of Tuesday four prisoner have been hanged in Kerman prison on charge of rape.

6 prisoners have been hanged in Bam

HRANA News Agency – The head of the judiciary of Kerman province confirmed the execution of 6 prisoners on charge of drug trafficking.

One prisoner has been hanged in Kerman

HRANA News Agency – One prisoner has been hanged in the Zarand prison of Kerman charged with drug trafficking.

According to a news by IRIB, assistant prosecutor of the branch of the revolutionary court of Zarand said: this 40 years old prisoner was arrested on the charge of trafficking 1 kg and 875 gr. of industrial drugs including Heroin about one year and a half ago and was in the Zarand prison since then.

Nikruz laso said: his sentence was confirmed and done this morning.

Human Rights violations in Iran Yearly Statistical – Special Year 2011

In a prediction report, it contains Statistical Data (2010-2011) of Human Rights violations in Iran. The statistical basis of this report, that has been prepared, will provide analytical, statistical efforts of institution, and the publication of Human Rights Activists in Iran.

Certainly, due to the Iranian government not allowing human rights defenders to work properly in reporting Human Rights violations and preventing the free flow of information, it does not recognizes the independence of the civil activities, and at the moment, reporting these issues are something with many limitations, difficulty and dangerous in Iran.

Obviously, in such situation for Human Rights defenders, despite great difficulties, only a very small volume of human Rights violations are being monitored, researched and documented in relation to media reports, and finding other groups. However with regards to the restrictions, we can» t deny the analytical error of the content, but the Human Rights entity have known the statistical content and analysis repots with %3 margin of error, rare in its own kind.

As in the first section of the report, it is necessary to notice the human Rights group activities and effort in Iran to improve the reporting of human Rights violations, however, statistics can make dramatic differences in terms of the reports focused on the center of the country compared to other parts of the country as one of the weaknesses of Iran «s civil society entities.

Eight prisoners sentenced to death in Kerman

HRANA News Agency– Judicial department in Kerman sentenced eight people to death in accusation of smuggling industrial drugs.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Khorasan, head of 2nd branch of Kerman revolutionary court said “This group which their main work was distribution of psychotropic drugs such as Shisheh, they brought the drugs from Tehran and were doing chain distribution in Kerman.”

Four Prisoners Hanged in Kerman

HRANA News Agency – Four prisoners convicted of drug trafficking were hanged in Kerman’s central prison after their death sentences were confirmed by Iran’s Attorney General.

According to the justice court in Kerman Province, one prisoner was convicted of possessing 980 grams of heroin and 28 grams of opium, and two other individuals were guilty of trafficking 137 kilos and 200 grams of opium.The fourth prisoner was convicted of transporting and possessing 26 kilos and 257 grams of heroin, 55 kilos of morphine and 39 grams of opium.

Iranian judicial authorities declined requests for amnesty or pardon and didn’t commute prisoners’ sentences.

 

Four Individuals Hanged in Kerman

HRANA News Agency – On Thursday, May 12, 2011, four citizens were hanged in prison in the city of Kerman [Kerman Province].  The Judiciary officials in Kerman Province have released the identity of the prisoners to be “A. A,” “N. B,” “N. D” and “A. B.”

 

These four individuals were charged with trafficking heroin and crack and carrying 20 thousand vials of Norgesic syringes and were subsequently sentenced to death by the Revolutionary court in Kerman.  Reports indicate that requests to pardon or reduced their sentences were rejected by the authorities.
