Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Students’ Demonstration Raided by the Police

HRANA News Agency – A considerable number of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters, carried out a peaceful protest in front of Baghiyatollah hospital in Tehran, which was intervened by security police like other recent protests, and many were beaten and arrested. Eye witnesses reporter a pregnant woman being beaten by security forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), families, students and supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri for a third successive day, after unconfirmed news had been released about Mr. Taheri’s “coma, because of his hunger strike and being admitted in Baqiyatallah hospital in Vanak”, gathered in front of the hospital and wanted to visit him with “flowers and sweets” in a peaceful assembly. Security Forces Arrested Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters

HRANA News Agency – The security forces attempted to beat the crowd and arrested at least 15 people and transferred them to an unknown location, on the third day of peaceful assembly by the supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri, in front of Baghiatullah hospital in Tehran. Among the detainees, there are some ladies and a 16-year-old teenager whose mother was severely beaten when she tried to rescue her son.

Rasoul Razavi Ended His Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – While Rasoul Razavi has announced that he has ended his hunger strike, on the forty-fourth day by a short messages, in the central prison of Karaj, Vahid Sayadi Nassiri has been transferred to solitary confinement on the thirty first day of his hunger strike, the left kidney of Hossein Rajabian has been infected and Ali Shariati was taken to a hospital. A number of other political prisoners still continue on their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Rasoul Razavi, political prisoner who had been exiled to the central prison of Karaj, has written a letter, saying that he ended his hunger strike because of the promise of judicial authorities, on the 44th day of his strike, on November 15, 2016. Mehdi Rajabian Transferred to the Hospital Again

HRANA News Agency – 7 political prisoners are on hunger strike with different demands, in different prisons. General health condition of some of these prisoners is reported to be bad. Rasoul Razavi and Morteza Moradpoor are respectively on the 40th and 13th day of hunger strike and have been exiled to central prison of Karaj and deprived of having phone call. In Evin prison, Vahid Sayadi, Arash Sadeghi, two artist brothers Mehdi and Hossain Rajabian, and Ali Shariati are respectively on the 28th, 20th, 16th, and 13th day of hunger strike. This is while prison authorities lunched a session and threatened prisoners on the strike. Mehdi Rajabian has been transferred to a hospital again for stomach bleeding. Vahid Sayadi was transferred to ward number 4 by prison guards. Hossain Alimohammadi, political prisoner in Tabriz prison, ended his strike after he accomplished his goal. Still there is no information about the fate of Mohammad Ali Taheri, who was reported to be on hunger strike.

At Least 21 of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters Remain in Detention

HRANA News Agency – Among detained supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri in Tehran and Isfahan, at least 21 people are still kept in prison in Tehran (Fashafoyeh), Women’s Prison in Qarchak and Dastgerd prison in Isfahan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), among those arrested at the rallies in support of Mohammad Ali Taheri in front of Baghyatollah hospital in Tehran, 15 people are still in detention. At Least 5 Supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri Remain Detained

HRANA News Agency – After releasing ten people of at least 15 people detained in the rally by Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters in front of Baqiatullah Hospital, five people remain in the “Vozara Building” in detention.

Riot Police Attacked the 2nd Day of Peaceful Assembly of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters

HRANA News Agency – Units of riot police in Tehran attacked the second day of peaceful assembly of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters outside the Baqiatullah Hospital in Tehran and beat them and used tear gas and possibly detained a number of participants, attempting to disperse the demonstrators.

Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Lawyer ‘Looking Forward to His Freedom.’

HRANA News Agency – Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabai, one of the lawyers of Mohammad Ali Taheri, announced that following the announcement on “Prosecution Discontinuance” for his client, he is going to follow Mr. Taheri’s freedom’s process. The lawyer has implicitly confirmed his client’s hunger strike that Mr. Taheri called it “Fasting”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Alizadeh Tabatabai, referring implicitly to his client’s hunger strike said: “(Some days ago) we went to meet him and he was fine. Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Lawyer Hopes “He’ll Be Released Soon.”

HRANA News Agency – Mahmood Alizadeh, Mohammad Ali Taheri’s lawyer stated that the charge of belligerent (insulting the profit and corruption on earth) was dropped from his client’s case, and expressed his hope that he would be released after the court session in about a month.
