HRANA News Agency – There are more than 70 Sunni prisoners kept in Rajaei Shahr prison with political-security charges, 42 of whom are imprisoned with the sentences between 5 to 20 years and are being kept in hall number 21 of ward number 7, and at least 30 prisoners with death sentences who are kept in hall number 10 of ward 4 of the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), more than 70 Sunni prisoners are kept in Rajaei Shahr prison with security and political allegations and have received their sentences under sacrilege charge. These prisoners are usually residents of western parts of Iran and are kept kilometers far from their hometown. HRANA News Agency – The death sentence for Shahram Ahmadi, Sunni prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, once again has been confirmed by the Supreme Court and the decision has been sent to the executive authorities.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the death penalty for Shahram Ahmadi, Sunni prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, which had been broken by the Supreme Court, was issued again by Branch 28 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, and this time was upheld by the Supreme Court and the Law-enforcement office has been notified. Sunni prisoner prevented from attending court
HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner sentenced to death in Iran was prevented from attending court earlier this week after he refused to wear the prisoners’ uniform.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahram Ahmadi, a Sunni prisoner awaiting execution in Rajai Shahr prison, was due to attend court on Monday. However, he refused to wear the prisoners’ uniform, which is reserved for convicted prisoners, and was therefore prevented from attending the court. He was then returned to his prison ward. HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner who was being deprived of adequate medical care in Tehran’s Evin prison was transferred to hospital yesterday after a deterioration in his condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni prisoner of conscience Shahram Ahmadi, who is awaiting execution, was transferred to Modarres hospital in Tehran at 5:30pm local time after suffering from excessive kidney bleeding. Shahram Ahmadi still denied medical treatment despite kidney bleeding
HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner of conscience who is awaiting execution in Tehran’s Evin prison is being denied access to adequate medical care, despite suffering from a potentially serious health condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahram Ahmadi, who has already lost his left kidney whilst imprisoned, has been suffering from an ongoing kidney infection for a number of months without adequate treatment. In recent days, he has reportedly been suffering from bleeding from his remaining kidney. Despite this, prison officials have continued to refuse to transfer him to a prison outside of the hospital to receive proper medical treatment. Two Sunni prisoners deprived of medical treatment
HRANA News Agency – Shahram Ahmadi and Arash Sharifi, two Sunni prisoners of conscience awaiting execution in Evin prison in Tehran, have been deprived of adequate medical treatment despite their ongoing health problems.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Both men have been suffering from serious illnesses for a number of months, and prison doctors have said they require further treatment in medical centers outside of the prison. Despite the prisoner’s deteriorating condition, the Iranian authorities have so far refused to transfer the men to hospital for further treatment.
