Supreme Court reviewing 16 Sunni prisoners’ cases

HRANA News Agency – The cases of at least 16 death row Sunni prisoners have been submitted for review by the Supreme Court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the cases of Behrouz Shahnazari, Shahram Ahmadi, Kaveh Sharifi, Mamousta Kaveh Veysi, Taleb Maleki, Arash Sharifi, Mokhtar Rahimi, Idris Nemati, Mohammad yavar Rahimi, Mohammad Gharibi, Pouria Mohammadi, Bahman Rahimi, Alam Barmashti and three other Sunni prisoners sentenced to death, who requested anonymity, are sent for reviewing to Branch 32 of the Supreme Court. 7 Sunni prisoners are threatened to be executed

HRANA News Agency – The intelligence agents threatened 7 Sunni prisoners in Evin prison to execute them.

No prison visit for 6 Sunni prisoners of Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – The judicial authorities are depriving the Sunni prisoners of Evin prison from having prison visits.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families of 2 Sunni prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison have asked the prosecutor to let them visit their loved ones, however the prosecutor did not allow them. Arash Sharifi is transferred to Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sharifi, the death row Sunni prisoner is transferred from Kashan central prison to Evin prison in Tehran.

Six Sunni Kurdish prisoners banned from having visitors

HRANA News Agency – Mokhtar Rahimi, Shahram Ahmadi, Kaveh Vaisi, Kaveh Sharifi, Taleb Maleki and Behrouz Shanhnazari, six of Sunni prisoners in ward 350 of Evin prison have been banned from being visited by their families since four months ago.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners who are sentenced to death are banned from being visited while families live in Kurdistan province and there is no chance of telephone contact because the telephone service is cut off in ward 350. HRANA News Agency – Six sentenced to death prisoners of conscience who have been kept in the solitary confinement cells of ward 240 of Evin prison, are transferred to ward 350.

 

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kaveh Veisi, Mokhtar Rahimi, Kaveh Sharifi, Behrouz Shahnazari, Taleb Maleki and Shahram Ahmadi, the Sunni prisoners who have been sentenced to death, are transferred to ward 350 of Evin prison on November 21st. after 15 days hunger strike. Six Sunni prisoners are on hunger strike in Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – Six Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who were sentenced to death, are on their 15th days of hunger strike in solitary confinement, in ward 240 of Evin prison.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), two of these prisoners, with the names of Mamusta Kaveh Veysi and Mokhtar Rahimi, have been transferred from Rajai Shahr prison to solitary confinement of ward number 240 of Evin prison. No news from seven sentenced to execution Sunni prisoners’ location

HRANA News Agency – There is no news of seven Sunni prisoners who were kept lately in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.

18 political prisoners’ hunger strike turned the day 11th

HRANA News Agency – Eighteen political prisoner who were arrested on security charges started hunger strike since 11 days ago in Rajaie Shahr prison and Ghezel Hesar prison.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), six of the political prisoners sentenced to death and the rest of them sentenced to longterm imprisonment. Their hunger strike is in protest to transferring the six sentenced to death political prisoners to Ghezel Hesar prison and demanding re-investigating and fair trial for their dossiers.
Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Hadi Hossaini, Sedigh Mohammadi, Hamed Ahmadi and Kamal Mollaie in Ghezel Hesar prison and Ahmad Nasiri in Rajaie Shahr prison are the political prisoners who sentenced to death.
Also Sirous Hamidi sentenced to twenty years imprisonment, Jamal Soleimani to eleven years imprisonment, Jabbar to ten years imprisonment, Jamal Ghaderi to eight years imprisonment and Parviz Osmani to five years imprisonment are the names of the others who are spending their imprisonment in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.
Besides of the above list there are some other detained in uncertain situation without trial and have not been sentenced yet. The followings are their names with their uncertain situation amount of time:
– Behrooz Shahnazari for forty five months
– Taleb Maleki for forty one months
– Pouria Mohammadi for thirty nine months
– Keikhosro Sharafipour for twenty six months
– Amel Diadashti for nineteen months
– Edris Ne’mati for twenty four months
– Mohammad Ahmad Sharifi for thirty four months
