Hamid Babai Transferred To The Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Hamid Babai, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, was transferred to the hospital after two years of continues efforts regarding his hearing problems.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after being transferred on December 30, to Imam Khomaini hospital in Karaj, his problem is recognized as ruptured eardrum, and after giving prescription he was asked to be returned with the results of the examination after a week. Omid Alishenas Released On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Omid Alishenas, imprisoned civil rights activist was released on the bail from Evin prison after 16 months of detention.

The List Of Over 70 Political Prisoners In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Below is a list of over 70 political prisoners of Evin prison who have been arrested or convicted of charges such as “Collaboration with Enemy States” and “Espionage”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), prisoners of conscious and security prisoners are classified based on nature of the charges against them, most of the security prisoners in Iran are tried based on article 501 (Espionage) and article 508 (Collaboration with Enemy States) of Islamic Penal Code Of Iran, due to the lack of transparency of the judicial system in such cases, and considering that in the past the judicial system has used the security charges as a way to confront and deal with its political opposition, and the lack of certainty and trust in a fair trial, the preparation and construction of this list is only based on the accusations and charges made by the official judiciary bodies against the imprisoned citizens, however the Human Right Activist Association of Iran cannot verify these accusations and charges considering the lack of transparency of judicial cases. 2 Political Prisoners Of Urumieh Prison Returned From Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Sabzi and Rahman Rashidzade, two political prisoners of Urumieh Prison who after announcing hunger strike had been transferred to solitary confinement, were returned to the ward by ending their hunger strike and the promise of prison authorities to address their demands.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the two mentioned political prisoners were asking the prison authorities to transfer them to the political prisoner’s ward, and were protesting the failure to implement the law that requires the prison authorities to classify and separate prisoners based on the crimes they have committed. The Execution Of 12 Prisoners In Rajai Shahr Prison Postponed For The Second Time

HRANA News Agency – For the second time in two weeks, the execution of 12 prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison was halted, and the prisoners were sent from solitary confinement back to the ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners, who have been charged with murder and sentenced to death (retaliation in kind), were transferred to solitary confinement for the implementation of the sentences.
