HRANA News Agency – The trial of Saeed Shirzad did not take place, because of him refusing to wear prison uniform and consequently, failure to send him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Saeed Shirzad was supposed to have a trial in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Salvati, on 15th July, however he was not sent to the court as he refused to wear the prison uniform and despite the presence of his lawyer, the trial did not take place. HRANA News Agency – There is no information about the charges and condition of interrogation of Esmaeil Abdi, imprisoned teacher and general secretary of the teachers union, who has been arrested by the intelligence service of IRGC.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), based on the available evidences, Esmaeil Abdi is being interrogated in ward 2-A of Evin prison. He did not have any visit with his lawyer and family and his only contact with outside of prison was a two minutes telephone call with his family. HRANA News Agency – Despite repeated requests by Saeed Shirzad, prison authorities and prosecutor have rejected to transfer this political prisoner to political-conscience prisoners’ ward in Rajai Shahr prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Rajai Shahr prison authorities have said that; Tehran prosecutor’s office and particularly, prosecutor Khodabakhshi had the authority in this regard, while, on the other hand the prosecution authorities say; the prison authorities had the authority to transfer prisoners inside the prison. HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labor activist, has been transferred again, to ward 2 (Daralqran) in Rajai Shahr prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Behnam Ebrahimzadeh has been transferred from solitary confinement straight to ward 1 in Rajai Shahr prison, about one month ago, on Saturday 6th June, while because of hunger strike and being beaten, he was seriously ill.
