HRANA News Agency – It’s over 32 months that Hamza Rigi, Balouch political prisoner is being held in solitary confinement by Iranian regime.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamza Rigi was arrested on charge of relating to Jondollah opposition group and was sentenced to death in the revolutionary court of Zahedan and his verdict has been confirmed.
Hamza Rigi also had been on hunger strike in protest of his verdict more than 25 days.
“Hamza Rigi was under 18 years old when he was arrested and his death sentence is against International Convention that Islamic Republic has signed it too. Hamza was tortured when he was arrested and most of his confessions was under the torture.” one of his relatives told HRANA’s reporter.

HRANA News Agency – The clinic of Rajaie Shahr prison asked eight thousand tomans fee from the prisoners who need to update their spectacles degrees.

Iran: Five Underground Musicians and Three Political Activists Arrested
HRANA News Agency – Security forces arrested five underground musicians and three political Activists.
According to the reports by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), three political civil activists: Ayat Mehr Ali Biglu in Soufian, Eastern Azarbayjan, Sirvan Hossein Panahi in Dehgolan and Mohammad Khatibi in Tabriz, were arrested by security forces.
And also,Iranian police have arrested five members of an underground band suspected of producing music for Farsi-speaking, dissident satellite channels based in the U.S.

Davar Hosseini, Leftist Student Was Sentenced to Six Year in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Davar Hosseini Vojdan, from Tehran and student at Isfahan’s Industrial University was sentenced to six year in prison.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), This student from Tehran was arrested on Monday, December 5, 2011 and being held several months in solitary confinement in Ward 209 of Evin Prison, then after four months in an uncertainty situation in 350 General Ward, was sentenced to six year in prison by the 15th branch of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court in the summer of 2012.
There is no information about Hosseini’s charges.
Anger as Iran bans women from universities
HRANA News Agency – Female students in Iran have been barred from more than 70 university degree courses in an officially-approved act of sex-discrimination which critics say is aimed at defeating the fight for equal women’s rights.
In a move that has prompted a demand for a UN investigation by Iran’s most celebrated human rights campaigner, the Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi, 36 universities have announced that 77 BA and BSc courses in the coming academic year will be “single gender” and effectively exclusive to men.

Human Rights violations in Iran Yearly Statistical – Special Year 2011
In a prediction report, it contains Statistical Data (2010-2011) of Human Rights violations in Iran. The statistical basis of this report, that has been prepared, will provide analytical, statistical efforts of institution, and the publication of Human Rights Activists in Iran.
Certainly, due to the Iranian government not allowing human rights defenders to work properly in reporting Human Rights violations and preventing the free flow of information, it does not recognizes the independence of the civil activities, and at the moment, reporting these issues are something with many limitations, difficulty and dangerous in Iran.
Obviously, in such situation for Human Rights defenders, despite great difficulties, only a very small volume of human Rights violations are being monitored, researched and documented in relation to media reports, and finding other groups. However with regards to the restrictions, we can» t deny the analytical error of the content, but the Human Rights entity have known the statistical content and analysis repots with %3 margin of error, rare in its own kind.
As in the first section of the report, it is necessary to notice the human Rights group activities and effort in Iran to improve the reporting of human Rights violations, however, statistics can make dramatic differences in terms of the reports focused on the center of the country compared to other parts of the country as one of the weaknesses of Iran «s civil society entities.

Kindergartens Teaching Dance Will be Shut Down
HRANA News Agency – Ahmad Esfandiari, the head of Welfare Department, has said that kindergartens teaching children how to dance will lose their operating permits.
According to a report by Aftab News, Ahmad Esfandiari referred to some of the programs offered by kindergartens as “secular” and “immoral” and called a number of children’s programs aired on various television channels as “unacceptable.”
The head of Welfare Department added that his organization was seeking to implement religious teachings in kindergartens and would strive to be more active in promoting “Quranic preschools and mosques’ kindergartens.”
