Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Students’ Demonstration Raided by the Police

HRANA News Agency – A considerable number of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters, carried out a peaceful protest in front of Baghiyatollah hospital in Tehran, which was intervened by security police like other recent protests, and many were beaten and arrested. Eye witnesses reporter a pregnant woman being beaten by security forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), families, students and supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri for a third successive day, after unconfirmed news had been released about Mr. Taheri’s “coma, because of his hunger strike and being admitted in Baqiyatallah hospital in Vanak”, gathered in front of the hospital and wanted to visit him with “flowers and sweets” in a peaceful assembly. Security Forces Arrested Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters

HRANA News Agency – The security forces attempted to beat the crowd and arrested at least 15 people and transferred them to an unknown location, on the third day of peaceful assembly by the supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri, in front of Baghiatullah hospital in Tehran. Among the detainees, there are some ladies and a 16-year-old teenager whose mother was severely beaten when she tried to rescue her son.

Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Faces New Charges in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labor activist in Rajai Shahr prison, who was transferred by force from ward 2 of Darul Quran, under the pretext of “transferring to the clinic”, to Hall 12, political prisoners’ Hall, in ward 4, following the inquisition and seizing his manuscripts by the prison security, has been threatened to form a news case against him, by the prison officials. This prisoner was seriously beaten in recent days by electronic shockers and now is suffering from severe gum infection, and is held in Hall 12, without his personal belongings.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), officers of the Office of Intelligence of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, inspected and seized the belongings and manuscripts of Behnam Ebrahimzadeh in this prison and transferred him to another ward, in the morning of Saturday, October 15. A Comprehensive Report on the Situation of 9 Imprisoned Bahais in Iran

HRANA News Agency – Fariba Kamal Abadi, Jamal-Aldin Khanjani, Mahvash Sabet, Afif Naimi, Saeed Rezai, Behrouz Tavakoli and Vahid Tizfah, are the seven administrative members of the Baha’i Community known as “Yaran-e Iran”, who along with Adel Naimi and Farhad Fahandezh have each been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. This 9 Baha’i citizens are currently serving their long sentences at Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj and Evin Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), “Yaran-e Iran” is the name of the group that were directing the administrative activities of the Baha’i Community in Iran.  This group was the replacement for the “National Spiritual Assembly of Iran” which was the administrative system and organizational structure of the Baha’is. This assembly was shut down by the Iranian Regime. Arash Sadeghi in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi who has gone on hunger strike in ward 8 of Evin prison since October 24 passed out with 9/6 blood pressure and was under oxygen for an hour in the clinic of prison. Following his critical condition, clinic doctors recommended him to be sent to a hospital, but the political prisoner announced that he would go to the hospital without wearing a uniform and handcuffs and shackles. He is now suffering palpitations, shortness of breath, pain in the kidney and his toenails were bruised.

Golrokh Irai and Arash Sadeghi Met in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – On November 14, Golrokh Irai and Arash Sadeghi met in the prison. The meeting was the request of the head of the prison aimed at ending the hunger strike of Arash Sadeghi, however, despite the promises of the authorities he refused to end his hunger strike until fulfilling these promises.
