Ayatollah Boroujerdi in Critical Health Condition in the 11th Year of Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Boroujerdi, a prisoner of conscience in Evin Prison at the beginning of the eleventh year of his imprisonment without medical care and even a day of leave is being held in special section of Evin prison for clergies. It has been said that a new case has been opened for him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayatollah Boroujerdi who had been arrested in 2006 and sentenced to 11 years in prison and also confiscation of his property, is held in ward 325-A of Evin prison, the special ward for clergies with various diseases and without medical care. Lack of Medican Equipment and Staff in Mahabad Prison
HRANA News Agency – It has been reported that the situation of medical facilities in Mahabad prison is very inappropriate and lack of medical staff has put the ill prisoners in trouble.

Specialist Orders Hussein Ronaghi Maleki to be Treated in a Hospital out of Prison
HRANA News Agency – Hussein Ronaghi Maleki, ill prisoner in Evin prison is on the 19th day of hunger strike in protest to his situation. He was medically examined by the specialist in the clinic of Evin prison and the doctor has ordered him to be hospitalized in a hospital out of prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), by the request of the prison authorities, a doctor came to the prison clinic and after the examination called for sending Hussein Ronaghi Maleki to a hospital outside the prison for treatment. Behzad Dhabihi Still in Solitary, Despite Bail
HRANA News Agency – Behzad Dhabihi is still being held in solitary confinement in the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility in Sari, although bail has been granted and paid.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), he was arrested on February 22, and detained by the Ministry in solitary confinement, although bail of 50 million tumans (31,000 euros, $41,000 US) has been posted, apparently because of administrative delays in registering the collateral. 4 Prisoners Ended their Hunger Strike in Ardebil Prison
HRANA News Agency – By improvement in the situation and promises by the Ardebil prison authorities, four prisoners of conscience detained in this prison ended their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Morteza Parvin, Mustafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Saleh Pichganloo, four Turkish activist who were on the 6th day of their hunger strike in separate calls with their families said that their condition had modestly improved and they were transferred to the general ward’s rooms and prison authorities had promised improvements in their situation so they have ended their hunger strike. At Least 7 Prisoners Hanged in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj
HRANA News Agency – At least seven prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, and there is still no news about one other prisoner.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the death penalty of at least seven prisoners was implemented in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj. Saeed Sangar in the 16th Year of Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Saeed Sangar political prisoner is still being held in Orumieh prison in the 16th year of his imprisonment in spite of having parole and even his furlough request has not been answered yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeed Sangar who was transferred again from Sanandaj prison to Orumieh Prison last September and at the beginning of the 15th year of his imprisonment, is eligible for parole in accordance with the law, however, continues to serve in the prison of Orumieh. Mostafa Azizi and Payam Bastani Parizi Released from Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Azizi and Payam Bastani Parizi, two political prisoners were released by the supreme leader’s pardon for celebration of March 31st (Islamic Republic day). Mr. Parizi was lashed 30 times before being released.
