HRANA News Agency – Rajai Shahr prison authorities have not agreed with the furlough of Behnam (As’ad) Ebrahimzadeh to visit his ill child in the hospital.

A Political Prisoner’s Wife Summoned To The Court In Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – Roqiyeh Alizadeh, the wife of Abbas Lesani, imprisoned political and civil activist, was summoned in writing “to give some explanations” to the second branch of the Prosecutor General and Revolutionary Courts in Ardabil city.

Ramazan Ahmad Kamal On Hunger Strike Demanding Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Ramazan Ahmad Kamal, Syrian prisoner has announced his hunger strike in protest to the lack of medical treatment in Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj. According to the prisoners, the fingers of this prisoner’s right hand are disabled after an unfinished surgery and returning to prison without treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ramazan Ahmad Kamal was arrested in 2008 while he was escaping to the borders of Iraq and the Iranian border guards stopped him by shooting several bullets in his belly, left shoulder and thigh. 18 Civil Rights Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment And Lashes

HRANA News Agency – 18 civil rights activists have been sentenced to 91 days in prison and 74 lashes each. These activists were arrested on charge of disrupting the public order on November 21, 2015.

Eisa Saharkhiz Ended His Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Eisa Saharkhiz ended his hunger strike with the promise of acceptance of a part of his demands. The court session of this imprisoned journalist will be hold on March 5, in branch number 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh.

Tehran: Mohammad Nourizad Announced 24-Hour Sit In

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Nourizad, civil rights activist says that on Saturday he would be standing in front of the Evin Prison for 24 hours, in protest against being banned from leaving the country and his belongings being kept illegally by the Revolutionary Guard’s Intelligence. This Civil rights Activist intends to continue his protest until his demands are met.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Wednesday February 17 Mohammad Nourizad wrote on his Facebook page: “I will go to any length to get my two absolute and personal rights back. How? By being in front of Evin Prison for 24 hours. Dawn till dusk and dusk till dawn! Despite the wind and the cold that would want me broken! First: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Later on: every day and every night, while I can still stand and breathe. Am I asking for much? All I want is my Passport freed, and my stolen belongings. Amir Golestani On The 20th Day Of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Amir Golestani, political prisoner of Evin prison who was supposed to be sent to hospital for skin disease, was not transferred due to his refusal of wearing prison uniform and handcuff. This prisoner is on hunger strike since more than 20 days ago, in protest to rejection to his parole.

2 Members Of A Music Band Waiting For Their Trial

HRANA News Agency – The IRGC intelligence agents have detained two members of a metal music band for three months. Nikan Khosravi and Arash Ilkhani, two members of “confess” group were arrested on November 10, 2015 and have been released on the 100 million thomans bail on February 5, 2016 after almost 3 months under interrogation in solitary confinement in ward 2-A of Evin prison.

Fariborz Raisdana Arrested For Some Hours

HRANA News Agency – Fariborz Raisdana, an economist and university professor, who referred to passport office to follow up being banned of leaving the country, was arrested and transferred to court of Evin prison by the police.

Mohammad Amin Agoushi Released From Zahedan Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Amin Agoushi was released from Central Zahedan Prison after the remaining of his sentence had been pardoned. This prisoner was arrested in 2007, and had lost his wife and daughter during his imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the 2 remaining years of Mohammad Amin Agoushi’s imprisonment has been pardoned on the anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution (11th February) and on February 16th he was released from the prison.
