Authorities Refuse to Address Ramazan Ahmad Kamal’s Health Condition on 3rd Day of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Rajaei Shahr prison clinic has refused to give any medical treatment to Ramazan Ahmad Kamal on his third day on hunger strike. This prisoner was transferred to the clinic after a drop in his blood pressure, but the resident physician of the clinic refused to give medical treatment for unknown reasons.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), prisoners have said that one of the clinic’s physicians treated the prisoner very badly for different excuses like presence of a friend or even, ethnicity or the language. The Appeal Court Sentenced 4 Activists to Imprisonments

HRANA News Agency – Branch number 54 of the appeal court with chief judge Poorarab, has issued the verdict of 4 civil rights activist. According to this verdict, Arash Sadeghi has been sentenced to 15 years, Golrokh Irayi (Ibrahimi) to 6 years and Navid Kamran and Behnam Moosivand each to one year in prison. Mr. Sadeghi had 4 years and Behnam Moosivand have two years conditional sentences from their older cases.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Raeisiyan, Arash Sadeghi and Golrokh Irayi’s lawyer, has confirmed this news and said that Arash Sadeghi had a conditional sentence of 4 years in prison which he will have to serve as well. Shokoufeh Azar Masoule’s Trial Postponed

HRANA News Agency – Shokoufeh Azar Masoule’s trial which was supposed to be held on Wednesday 24th February at branch number 26 of Tehran’s Revolutionary court, was postponed to the following week. The reason for postponing the trial is the rain and lack of preparation for transferring her to the Revolutionary Court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this civil rights activist has been deprived of visits for more than 9 months during her detention, due to loss of immediate family members, and because of not being able to provide the proposed bail; she has remained in prison. Animal Rights Activists Arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – A group of citizens gathered in front of Parliament in protest to the lack of proper laws to protect animals. The aggregation ended by police intervention, acts of violence, throwing tear gas and detention of a number of protesters.

Ordinary Prisoners Punished for Supporting Political Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – Two of the prisoners with financial crimes who had supported political prisoners during a conflict in ward 7 of Evin prison, has been transferred from the ward as a punishment. One of the prisoners had been transferred to the “Fashafoyeh” prison and the other prison had been transferred to the second hall of 7th ward of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a number of financial prisoners had chanted provocative slogans with referring to political prisoners at the anniversary of the revolution which faced the reaction of political prisoners at night on Wednesday February 10. Roghaye Alizade’s Hearing Held in the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lisani’s family, his wife and two sons were present at the general revolutionary court of Ardabil following repeated summons. The Turksish activist (Azeri) of Ardabil is currently being held in prison in Shiraz.

The Appeal Court Confirmed Hussein Rafie’s Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA News Agency – The 54th branch of Tehran appeals court confirmed the primary sentence of Hussein Rafie. In the first phase of the trial, he had been sentenced to six years in prison, two- year ban from membership in parties, groups and political groups and activities in cyberspace, media and fined three million Riyals.

3 Supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri Transferred To Tehran Central Prison

HRANA News Agency – 3 of Mohammad-Ali Taheri’s supporters were transferred to Tehran Central Prison (Fashafouye). Vahid Fallahi, Mohsen Karimi and Farshad Azimzade had been arrested in front of Evin Prison on Sunday 21st February.

Reza Samie Monfared on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Reza Samie Monfared, security prisoner of ward 7 of Evin Prison said in a letter that he would start a hunger strike. His requests are having Parole or Medical furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Reza Samie Monfared, former special inspector was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison on charges of communicating with enemy states.
Close sources to with him said that he was arrested and sentenced because of exposing the corruption of 3 trillion. HRANA can neither confirm nor reject this independently.
The prisoner needs the medical care due to suffering from disc herniation and is eligible for parole after serving 1/3 of the sentence.
Reza Samie Monfared was arrested in 2013 and after spending four months in solitary confinement in ward 240 of Evin prison was transferred to ward 350 of Evin prison and then to ward 7.
