18 Civil Rights Activists Tried In Tehran

HRANA News Agency – 18 civil right activists were tried in branch number 1060 of criminal court of Tehran, by judge Taha Dehghani, and charged with disturbing the public order. Most of these civil rights activists were arrested in front of Evin prison in a peaceful protest, on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Simin Ayvaz Zadeh, Reza Malek, Hashem Zaynali, Ehsan Khaybar, Adel Arouji, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Shoja, Khadijeh (Layla) Mirghaffari, Azam Najafi, Parvin Salimi, Shermin Yamani and Sarah Saei are some of the activists who have been tried and are waiting for the court verdict which is expected to be issued in few days. A Report On The Situation Of Farhad Pirooti In Mahabad Prison

HRANA News Agency – Farhad Pirooti, political prisoner and resident of Sardasht, is serving the 4th month of his 5-year-sentence. He has been charged with acts against the national security and cooperation with conflicting parties.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Farhad Prirooti, electronic engineering student of Payam Noor University of Sardasht, was arrested on January 15, 2012, by the intelligent service of Sardasht, in a printing shop where he used to work. Behnam Shaikhi Summoned To The Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – The revolutionary court of Baharestan (rural of Tehran), has summoned Behnam Shaikhi, civil rights activist. Mr. Shaikhi will be tried on charge of acts against the national security.

Authorities Prevent Saeid Hossainzadeh From Being Transferred To The Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Evin prison authorities are preventing Saeid Hossainzadeh from being transferred to the hospital for the process of request for inability to tolerate punishment. The family of this civil rights activist said that they were threatened by the revolutionary guards forces, after reporting about his condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), forensics of Evin prison has approved the inability of Saeid Hossainzadeh to serve imprisonment, and he has to achieve the approval from Imam Khomaini hospital. 1000 Days Without Furlough: Akbar Amini Armaki

HRANA News Agency – Akbar Amini Armaki has served the thousandth day of imprisonment without furlough in Evin prison. He was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison and five years deprivation of membership in any parties during four years and in three cases. He is in prison since elections of 2013.
On February 15, 2010 Akbar Amini Armaki was detained by the officers of Ministry of Intelligence for the first time in a symbolic protest against the arrests and also encounters with protesters after the presidential elections in 2009 and raising green flag above a construction crane in front of the Tehran Islamic Revolutionary Court. He was under psychological and physical torture in the solitary confinement for months in ward 209 of Evin prison in order to admit to mental instability. Asadullah Asadi Released On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Asadullah Asadi who was arrested again by the security forces in Tabriz, has been released shortly after his had been transferred to Tabriz prison.

The List Of Political Prisoners In The Central Prison Of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – The following report is a brief of the situation of Tabriz prison and including the list of sentences and charges of 8 political prisoners who are held in 5 different wards despite the principle of separation of inmates. This list contains a labor activist and seven Turkish (Azari) prisoners.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in Tabriz prison with a capacity of 2500 prisoner, more than about 5000 prisoners are being held which involves most of the crimes and because of overcrowding a large number of them are deprived of having a bed and have to sleep on the floor. Mohammad-Ali Taheri On The 20th Day Of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Concerns rise over the health of Mohammad-Ali Taheri, the founder of the Interuniversal Mysticism (Erfan-e Halghe), on the 20th day of his hunger strike. According to one of his lawyers and his mother, he has been on hunger strike ever since the January 30th, in protest against prevention of his freedom on the supposed date despite the quashing of his death sentence.
