2 Erfan-e-Halgheh Activists Arrested In Mashhad
HRANA News Agency – Two Erfan Halghe activists and supporters have been arrested in Mashhad. One of the activist was summoned to the judiciary and one of prisoners, also was sentenced to six months in prison in a new case.

“Union of Concerned Scientists” Called For Immediate Freedom Of Omid Kokabee
HRANA News Agency – “Union of Concerned Scientists” in a letter to President Hassan Rohani called for immediate and unconditional release of Omid Kokabee. Omid Kokabee, doctoral student at Texas University, was arrested in February 2011, and later in May 2012 he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in the mentioned letter which has been published on January 30th the UCS while explaining Omid Kokabee’s scientific practices, has requested the Iranian authorities, as the relations between Iran and the rest of the world are beginning to improve, to prepare the unconditional release of Omid Kokabee so that he can continue his peaceful scientific practices. Asadullah Asadi Released on The Bail
HRANA News Agency – Asadullah Asadi, political activist, was released on the bail from Tabriz prison on January 31. Mr. Asadi was arrested when he had carried and displayed banners of protest around Tabriz bazaar to protest against what he expressed as “violation of his rights by the department of education”
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the Turkish (Azeri) political activist has been charged with “disobeying police’s orders”, “propaganda against the system”, “disturbing public order” and “slogans and writings against the authorities” and is scheduled to be tried next week. Hamid Khosh Seyr Released From Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Hamid Khosh Seyr, one of the defendants of the case known as “Imam Naghi campaign” and imprisoned in ward 7 of Evin prison, was sent on a five-day furlough that leads to his freedom at the end of his sentence.

Authorities Prevent Jahandar Mohammadi From Having Parole Or Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Despite the legal status, Jahandar Mohammadi’s request for furlough and parole had been rejected in the tenth year of his imprisonment in Sanandaj prison. Jahandar Mohammadi was arrested in 2006 and was sentenced to 16 years on charge of Muharebeh.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Jahandar Mohammadi from Sanandaj was arrested in May 2006 by the ministry of intelligence. He was transferred to Evin prison first and then after seventeen days was sent to the Ministry of Intelligence in Sanandaj. Mohammad Najafi Summoned To The Court In Shazand
HRANA News Agency – The first branch of the General and Revolutionary Courts of Shazand of Markazi province has summoned lawyer Mohammad Najafi. In the summons the charge of Mr. Najafi has listed as “disturbing the public opinion” and he must attend the hearing within five days of receiving the summons.

A Civilian Shot And Killed By The police Forces In Rawansar
HRANA News Agency – Local sources have reported the murder of one civilian by direct shooting of police officers in the Rawansar subsidiary town of city of Kermanshah province.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a local source said on Sunday 31th January, the police tried to seize the coffeehouse owned by Hamed Mozaffari because of lack of permission. Alireza Golipoor Had To Urgently Be Transferred To The Hospital
HRANA News Agency – Alireza Golipoor, prisoner of ward number 7 of Evin prison was transferred to Ghamar Bani Hashim hospital which belongs to intelligent service and went under surgery, after his physical condition had deteriorated. He had another surgery related to his cancer and for removing tumor, but had been sent back to prison without completion of the medical process.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Alireza Golipoor, the prisoner of ward number 7 of Evin prison, who had previously sent back to prison without completion of medical process after his surgery for tumor removal, by the order from intelligent service officials and despite the physicians comments, was sent to the hospital in an emergency case. He was sent to Ghamar Bani Hashim hospital which is controlled by the intelligent service, and went under another surgery. Arbitrary Decisions Make The Conditions Of Furlough In Ghezelhesar Prison Tougher
HRANA News Agency – New authorities of Ghezelhesar Prison have said that for medical furlough, lashing sentences has to be executed and the fine has to be paid in advance, the amount of the bail will be increased as well. Some families are told that they have to sign the permit for selling the bail, in order to have the approval for furlough.
