HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Sabzi and Rahman Rashidzade, two political prisoners of Urumieh Prison who after announcing hunger strike had been transferred to solitary confinement, were returned to the ward by ending their hunger strike and the promise of prison authorities to address their demands.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the two mentioned political prisoners were asking the prison authorities to transfer them to the political prisoner’s ward, and were protesting the failure to implement the law that requires the prison authorities to classify and separate prisoners based on the crimes they have committed. HRANA News Agency – Kamal Sharifi, journalist and political activist in Minab prison is in his eighth year of imprisonment being deprived of furlough during all these years, and being able to visit his family just for once.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kamal Sharifi, journalist and political activist, born in October 1972, is spending his 30 years imprisonment sentence in exile, in Minab prison, while he has been able to visit his parents just once and after a long hunger strike. HRANA News Agency – The appeal court of East Azerbaijan province sentenced each of Taha Kermani and Hussein Ali Mohammadi to two years imprisonment with counting the days of previous detention by acquittal of charges of “blasphemy”.

The Execution Of 12 Prisoners In Rajai Shahr Prison Postponed For The Second Time
HRANA News Agency – For the second time in two weeks, the execution of 12 prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison was halted, and the prisoners were sent from solitary confinement back to the ward.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners, who have been charged with murder and sentenced to death (retaliation in kind), were transferred to solitary confinement for the implementation of the sentences. Omar Faghihpour Deprived Of Furlough In The 16th Of His Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Omar Faghihpour, Kurdish political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, has served 16 years of his life sentence and despite having the right of furlough or parole, he is still kept in the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he had been arrested in 2000 and charged with acting against national security and war against God through contact with the Democratic Party of Kurdistan. He was sentenced to death in Mahabad revolutionary court, and then the court of appeal reduced his sentence to life imprisonment with a degree of extenuating. Athena Daemi Transferred To The Clinic Of The Prison
HRANA News Agency – Athena Daemi, imprisoned civil activist, has been transferred to the clinic of Evin prison for two times because of the deteriorating physical condition and high blood pressure and was returned to the ward, after some efforts to lower her blood pressure.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), following high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat and heart palpitations and shortness of breath caused by that, Athena Daemi was transferred to the clinic of Evin prison, as an emergency patient, and after being taken under tongue pearl, was returned to the ward. After the deterioration of her condition and to treat her problem, this civil activist was transferred to the clinic again, and got a sedative injection, and then was returned to the ward. A Father And His Son Deprived Of Being Held In The Same Ward In Rajaei Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Rajaei Shahr prison officials rejected the request of an imprisoned Sunni father and his son to be transferred to the same ward. Taymoor and Erfan Naderizadeh said that due to differences of visit days for different wards and long distances between Sanandaj and Karaj, their family could not afford to travel twice a week for visit.
