HRANA News Agency – There are some reports regarding the arrest of six activists in recent days, while this year the security forces have prevented holding the annual ceremony of “Ghaleh Babak” , Babak Castle, in East Azerbaijan province.

Saeid Malekpour Deprived of Family Visits for More than a Year
HRANA News Agency – Saeid Malekpour who has been sentenced to life time plus seven and a half years imprisonment, most recently was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison, in the seventh years of his imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this transfer happened while he had been deprived of close visits during the last year that he was held in ward 4, due to the ward manager’s suggestion and security excuses. Kourosh Zaim Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison
HRANA News Agency – Kourosh Zaim, member of the Central Council of the National Front, has been sentenced to 1 year imprisonment by judge Salvati.

HRANA News Agency – Prisoners of the Central Prison of Tehran protested against the poor conditions, at the time of being transferred to this prison.

4 Prisoners Hanged in the Prison of Isfahan
HRANA News Agency – Four prisoners were hanged in the prison of Isfahan and there are 6 others waiting for execution in Bandar Abbas and Zahedan prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), four of those convicted of drug-related crimes were hanged in Dastgerd prison, in Isfahan on Wednesday 29th July. Family of Shahriar Cyrus Denied Prison Visiting Rights
HRANA News Agency – Despite the orders of the Prosecutor, authorities at Evin prison, in Tehran, have refused to allow Shahriar Cyrus, a Bahai painter and a respected art critic, to receive family visits.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Cyrus was arrested on June 30th. On July 23, his wife Afsaneh Eqani and their 7-year-old son went to block 209 at Evin prison, where prisoners of conscience are held. 5 Prisoners Executed in Shahab Prison in Kerman
HRANA News Agency – Five prisoners, who were sentenced to death, were executed in “Shahab” prison in Kerman and 3 others were transferred to solitary confinements for execution.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners were all sentenced to death on charge of drug related crimes who were 4 men and 1 woman. Officials Prevent 2 Political Prisoners from Being Transferred to the Hospital
HRANA News Agency – The Evin prison officials are preventing Babak Asiaei and Alireza Golipoor from being transferred to a hospital, despite their critical condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Alireza Golipoor, the prisoner of ward number 7 is suffering from serious heart disease and Babk Asiaei is recently facing critical digestive problems.
