HRANA News Agency – The families of four Sunni prisoners in danger of imminent execution in Iran have gathered outside Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj in protest at their death sentences.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families, despite opposition from Iranian security forces, have refused to leave the prison until the death sentences are revoked, and until the prisoners are returned to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj. HRANA News Agency – The four prisoners, who had been transferred to solitary confinement in Rajai Shahr Prison yesterday in order for their executions to be carried out, were transferred to Ghezel Hesar Prison last night.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families of the men were informed by a prison official that the men were due to be executed at 4 am this morning, but that the execution was not carried out.
