Another Kurd arrested in Paveh

HRANA News Agency – In continuation of arrests in western cities in Iran another Kurd has arrested on March 19th of 2013 in Paveh.

The student publication of Razi University was banned

HRANA News Agency – The student publication which called Bisetoon and published by the students of Razi university of Kermanshah was banned.

Two Baha’i citizen arrested in Gorgan

HRANA News Agency – Mona Amri and Roufia Pakzadan two Baha’is from Gorgan arrested by security agents.

Ebrahim Firouzi, the converted Christian arrested again

HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Firouzi the Christian citizen from Tehran was arrested on March 7th of 2013 by security forces.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) quoted from Mohabbat News, Ebrahim Firouzi who is 28 years old and converted christian, was disappeared for a few days and his family and friends had no news about his condition. Their worries increased while following ups and asking several times from friends and relatives had no result just they found that Ebrahim was arrested by some plainclothes agents when he was on his way to his job. Deteriorating Health Condition of Two Jailed Dervishes on 60th Day of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Gonabadi Dervish’s rights activists, Kasra Nouri and Saleh Moradi in 60th day of their hunger strike, are in deteriorating health condition.

One of Iran Freedom Movement members arrested

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr the member of Iran Freedom movement arrested on March 16th of 2013 right after his home inspection.

Mehdi Mo’tamedi Mehr was sentenced to five years imprisonment by branch 28 of revolutionary court on charge of membership in Iran Freedom Movement, participation in Ashoora protest and writing columns in purpose of criticizing the regime which the verdict was confirmed by appealed. Lack of anesthetics and shutting down the operation rooms in Iran

HRANA News Agency – The head of anesthesia and urgent cares of Iran warned seriously about lack of anesthetic in Iran and said “because of lack of anesthetic for operation rooms some of private and governmental hospitals in Tehran are in danger of shutting down.”
according to Mehr news report, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Qiamat claimed that “the latest follow ups showing that most of hospitals and medical centers are in danger of lack of anesthetics in Iran.”

“With all of our warnings in the past but the officials did negligence around this issue. while this is clear that in Nowrooz holidays only urgent case would be able to enter operation rooms and the others will be in uncertain situation”, One of board members of medical council of Tehran added.

The head of anesthesia and urgent cares of Iran repeated that the operation rooms could not be closed because of lack of anesthetics and said “the old versions of anesthetics which have not used before, now came back to the circle of anesthetics which could be an alarm on patients health.

“We warned the officials many time about the issue of lacking of anesthetics in hospitals and medical centers but the officials are still slept and for sure the patients will pay for the negligence”, The member of board members of medical council of Tehran said.

Imprisoned converted Christian in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Irani the converted christian who is imprisoned in Karaj prison has serious critical health condition and the prison officials did not do anything to improve his health condition.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani the converted christian who imprisoned in ward 2 the hall 7 of Karaj prison has suffered from serious backache since two weeks ago and the officials did nothing about his medical treatment.

Two cultural activists arrested

HRANA News Agency – Kaihan Azizi and Davoud Ghaffari, two Kurdish cultural-literary activists summoned by Paveh Etela’at and detained.
 
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these two cultural-literary activists arrested on charge of writing announcement in Kurdish one month ago for a Kurdish writer passing away.
