HRANA News Agency – About 100 troops of the Prison Guards in Rajai Shahr prison attacked the hall 21 of ward 7 in Rajai Shahr prison and violently inspected and destroyed political-security prisoners’ belongings.

Sohail Babadi on Hunger Strike in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Sohail Babadi, prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison has started a hunger strike in protest to his transfer as punishment and not having his medicine and personal accessories.

Mahmood Masoomi Transferred to Ward 2-A of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mahmood Masoomi, a student who was arrested during a protest in front of Dena Tire building, and had been transferred to Great Prison of Tehran, was transferred to ward 2-A in Evin prison, with a detention warrant for two months, issued by Shahid Moghadas court.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some of the followers of Mohammad Ali Taheri, founder of Halghe Theosophy, were arrested during a protest in front of Dena Tire building, on Thursday May 12. Mahmood Masoomi is one of these arrestees who had his first interrogation session in Shahid Moghadas court of Evin prison on Saturday May 14. Saeid Norouzi; 9 Months of Detention in Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – After 9 months of detention in solitary confinement of ward number 7 of Evin prison, Saeid Norouzi is still in limbo.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Norouzi, prisoner of ward number 7 in hall number 12 of Evin prison, while spending two months in solitary confinement in an unknown location and 7 months in ward 7, has been summoned multiple times to branch number 15 of the revolutionary court by judge Salavati. 4 Political Prisoners Released from Evin and Rajai Shahr Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Mahmood Beheshti Langaroodi, teacher and union activist who was on the 22nd day of hunger strike, was released and sent to his house. Kayvan Mehregan, poet and journalist, who was in furlough was released on parole. Rasould Badaghi, union activist has been released on the bail and Mehdi Motamedi Mehr, other political prisoner is sent to a 5-day furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mahmood Beheshti Langaroodi, imprisoned teacher and member of Teachers Association of Iran, who had been hospitalized due to bad condition after his hunger strike, was released on the bail, until his retrial session. Offensive Behavior of Prison Guards of Rajai Shahr Prison with Political Prisoners’ Families

HRANA News Agency – The guards in Rajai-Shahr Prison harassed the families of political prisoners while visiting their prisoners. The protest of prisoners and their families had no result and the encounter which continuously gets worse, has negative influences on the conditions of prisoners and their families.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), families of political prisoners in Rajai-Shahr prison complained to the Prosecutor’s Office due to offensive behavior of the prison guards, but the prosecutor responded that he was not involved in this process and it was not also within the scope of his duties. Hassan Kamal Ramadan Sued the Authorities of Orumiyeh Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Kamal Ramadan, Syrian political prisoner who had been held in solitary confinement with handcuffs and shackles for five days from April 16, 2016 and had been beaten by prison officials of Orumiyeh Central Prison during this period, has registered a complaint in this regard.
